@@TParkcasual My condolances. My cat passed away last year. She was 12. Also tumor. Printed out the best picture of her i could find, framed it and put it on the wall. Still finding cat hair tho so in a way she is still with me. Or the hair are at least lol.
I usually watch UA-cam on my old laptop. But for the first time, I just had to go to my living room to watch your video on an OLED just to appreciate that gorgeous b-roll in all its 4K glory. Beautiful!
First of all, I'd like to say that I appreciate that you included the faux pas during the build process; A lot of times things don't go as planned which leads to frustration and the desire to not finish it. Having said that, you persevered and the end result looks fantastic!
@@thenonadventure Things may have changed since I gave PrimoChill VUE 3 tries, but at least a couple years ago it was not 'intended' for only show. They were recommending very thorough loop preparation and limiting daily power-on of the system to 8 hours. Sadly, those of us who followed their instructions to a T quickly found out that no amount of preparation or limiting daily use would prevent the fairly rapid particle fall-out and clogging as you mentioned. I love the way that kind of fluid looks in a loop but it just isn't worth having to tear down your loop, disassemble every block / pump / etc for scrubbing and replace all tubing every few weeks. I did manage to get VUE to last about 2 months on my third try, but that just isn't worth it to me.
Absolutely beautiful man. Hope things are going well with the house and your baby girl! And thanks for all the content with things being so hectic and busy, truly inspiring.
@@paulshardware It ain't done man. You said it yourself, 'the front looks like ass.' Yep, direct quote, exactly what you said. Can't test it until you get the rgb done on the front. That front, lit up with that badass fluid, would be epic, no?
I spoke to TT at PAX East about that coolant. They said that it’s testing has been super positive. It is made with a different ingredient than PC’s Vue. I can’t wait to hear how it works for you Paul.
Damn. I've seen my fair share of pretty computers, but I'm pretty wowed by this finished product. That silver fluid from Thermaltake especially. I thought it looked a little weird at first when you were showing it in the bottle but once it was flowing it ended up looking waaay cooler than I expected. Can't wait to see how this bad boy performs!
I wasn't quite sold until you put on the side panel and somehow it all became a gloriously integrated piece of high powered tech art. 🏆 Congrats on a great build. Your patience and precision paid off. 😎👍
Midknight1124 This is an amazing build ngl, however there are even higher levels, check Declassified Systems on UA-cam for some craaazyy builds Edit: also check out Designs by IFR
I've actually used one of those portable car tire pump/jumper to push water out of my loop. Just put the tire pump connector in the tube, apply a bit of tape and turn it on. It usually pushes out 99% of the water very quickly
That is an absolute stunning beast. Great work as always paul, hard tubing looks a right pain in the ass to do (never done it) so Kudos to you mate. Everything has been done with love and attention to detail. Class.
Loved it right up to the point you put that fluid in it....I suspect in about 3-6 months we will see a vid where the suspension in that fluid drops out and then pulling it apart to clean every fitting, followed by another vid showing you go back to distilled water, and rebuilding it. Great job though. Looks fantastic.
Awesome build! Despite having limited RGB settings, I find it really soothing to look at the lighting how it is. Congrats on a beautiful and certainly powerful build!
The OCD in me compels me to mention the reversed flow of the GPU blocks. Great looking build though, that re-made CPU bend improved a lot more than I expected, and that slow-motion shot of the bubbles in the front plate is quite mesmerizing
@Paul's Hardware Double sided clear tape on the outside edges of the front distro plate, attach (LED Inwards) black RGB LED strips along both sides with wires at the bottom, snake them into the case and voila "RGB Front Distro"
That coolant is amazing! Think in the future I'll go down the water cooling route, hard tubing or glass tubing with this coolant :P honestly love this build, good job paul!
Congrats on finishing it, looks great! Too bad the etched thumb-screw logo gets lost in the coolant. Love that coolant, btw. Maybe color in the etching so that the logo pops? (big fan of the logo).
Good call on the fluid change however I agree with you that the Silver stuff is gonna choke it all up eventually, I think if manufacturers would widen the fins a bit on the blocks the clogging issue might go away. That said Distilled is always best maybe use a flow device in the loop next time to make sure movement is good.
that liquid flow. it feels so alien to me like some magic sci fi fluids cooling things unexplained kinda feeling along electronics (yes im weird or maybe i want to see the future in a sci fi level) seeing that its a nice build for sure though i wish i could afford or even have such a thing (for fun of course since maintenance would be nightmare mode) oh well such as life
Unless you are really pushing the limits og your overclockes and thermals, you dont need a custom loop. I did a custom loop on my Ryzen 1800x and 1080ti setup. It cost me well over $1000 AUD and really i havent gained any proformance other then slightly prolonging the life of my hardware due to lower temps.
Totally not worth it for the money and time Paul, but definitely worth it for the good feelings it gives you and well, me. It looks gorgeous, especially with the side plexiglass on it. Also, I agree, you need to have the front distro plate area light up somehow. Otherwise, it's simply stunning, overkill or not.
An amazing amount of work but it looks amazing and performs amazing too I imagine. You are right that it needs some lighting on the front distro plate. Maybe some of those diffused RGB lighting strips around the edge of the plate. The Silverstone ones like LTT used in their recent Compensator 3 build.
The good part starts at 7:00 😍 Hope you like the slow-mo. Thanks for watching guys!
Joke's on you, I watched the entire video.
when you squint with the music in the backround it looked more like an 70`s pornmovie ;) Have a nice Day Greetings from Berlin
That thing costs more than my car... nice
Congrats Paul, that sure is one nice looking PC👍
Paul, what is that tool you used to cut the tubing?
Before watching: Paul is such a clickbaiter
After: nvm his build is beautiful
That's called being a master baiter.
Looks like its cooled by man gravy. THANKS THERMALTAKE!!!

"how does it already have dog hair on it", ah, a dog owner's life in a nutshell. Beautiful build.

haha very true. I miss my dog Hyro, she just passed away 2 months ago because of mamary tumors. She was 13, lived a long life I guess =/

Surprisingly Not the first time I've seen a man blow a computer. 😝
Crude. Funny as hell. But Crude.
$20 is $20.... wait
Great Build, not too flashy, not too aggressive, no unncesary RGB just right
Part of the journey is the end right Paul? Beautiful build man! I love it🔥 This was totally worth it waiting for😍
That turned out amazing. I agree the front needs some lights. Sorry it was such a pain Paul. Thanks for pushing through.
Beautiful. I love the way the opaque fluid makes the logos on the distro block so subtle.
I like your videos. No overacting and just explaining everything clearly. Video quality is super, too!
So proud of you for finally finishing the build

I look forward to seeing how that coolant holds up, I really like the effect and I hope it's as visible in other colours. Great build Paul!.
It eventually get's clogged in everything and will require a thorough cleaning. Looks great though but it's only intended for show.

The production value for this video certainly went up a notch. It looks really great! Maybe one day I will decide to do my own custom loop as well.
You're right, the front does need some light, but oh my gosh it's pretty, especially with the pure white! ♥

ok. the b roll of the initial loop flow is my favorite yet. nicely done!

My parents: *no*
Edit: They basically say no because "900$ CAD is already too much for a computer"
Just tell them its educational. Like minecraft or roblox
Nob ody to be fair, minecraft and roblox don’t cost $1000+
