As you pull the knot tight, the braid will dig into the fluorocarbon and create a very strong knot. Just make sure your wraps around the fluorocarbon are tight before pulling on the lines. If they are sufficiently tight, the braid will bite into the fluorocarbon when you tighten the knot. Thanks for the question.
