Finally. As much as I love watching eye in the sky so many times I'm bewildered and aggravated at the lack of coordination of the players. Hopefully this will showcase teamwork and tactics worthy of combined arms ☮️

Really looking forward to seeing this!! (EDIT SUGGESTION: have another admin on the other team recording in case significant/interesting/worthy comms or alternate perspectives enhance final video production - even if its only a tiny fraction of the overall video, it can really change the whole feel, giving you possibilities of dramatic cuts/etc you can sync with each other in the editor timeline, and is surprisingly easy to chop/change in editing. I won't spam it without you asking but a while back i made a few videos of Planetside 2 that covered an event from multiple perspectives - can send you links to show you what i mean if you like. I really think it'd be worth the effort, if you hadn't already considered it!! Love what ya do, man.)

Only real question I have for you is how will layers be controlled? Is it all a roll of the dice? Or will it be a case of each team picks their choice?…. I get each has a suited role but I feel if it was armoured against light motorised might get…. Fairly rough.

UB-32 pod throws objects of S-5 type, of 55/'57' mm thickness. A descendant of R4M from which it was developed. A modernizatin S-5U was made years ago, but there arent many active users that arent controlled by the other side where UB-32 pods are found, especially after the other side got freedom to unleash itself since 1991. S-5 it seems mostly was phased out by about everywhere. Where it was used before 'dmeocracy' came in and imposed its Military oversized/overpaid complex :)

Oh this is going to be hype. Very very excited to see how this goes. Ideally a Chinese and Russian clan can get involved since they both are a huge part of the playerbase, but I understand it if it's difficult to reach out to them.
I think it would more be issues with connection, regionally they tend to be fairly separate from the rest of the community.

How do you prevent cheating tho? Do people even cheat in squad? I'm sure some must
well ill guess these games will be HIGHLY watched and regulated by admins to make sure no one's cheating... plus its actual competitive players... at least the team im in... but u never know, we'll see
Considering your average team is around 50 people, it comes down to 20 freedom coins per person. Not saying 20$ is insignificant amount (some people practically live in squad and do not get paid for it at all), but i wonder if that will be enough to make teams try harder and be more competitive compared to your casual sqaud matches.
Not sure if this would work, but id prefer individual squads, rather than teams, fight for the prize. Although it would be significantly more difficult to evalute overall performance.
The price is probably Moidawg paying from his own pockets. And he will also probably pay for the servers. And he will also spend countless hours. The price is symbolic
Individual squad would make it too much like a battlefield or COD game in my opinion. Combined arms and communication between squads should be valued in a squad tourny

Sure, money is money, but that amount seems rather small for a team-based game.
that depends ofc... my team got 17 atm, with more to come soon... but yeah i'd guess 50 players max for each team as that's the limit for each team in-game... yeah can be a bit low... we'll see... someone suggested doing an "go fundme" to add more money in the price... but idk

I love when every single game needs an E sport, only for the devs to full send into making content for it despite the game being made for a completely different crowd.
@@TabiTheCat There's been E-Sports in Squad since the alpha phase, which was supported by OWI up until a few years ago. The game also planned(in Kickstarter) to have competitive ladder support etc This isn't the first "E-sport" event in Squad

If anything, add a good chunk of the remainder of the core community of veteran and comp players to the list whom they alienated with ICO.
less go play on unbalanced asymmetric layers bo3 matches with mostly random maps/factions no ds coms/mortar calc (yo we will look after you somehow). Its not Lol/Dota/valorant/cs, where maps/starting teams matter nearly 0. all tournament games(incl 2 official owi championships) were 1 map 2 rounds aas with swapping teams. Anyway PM/Rat/owls will shred through all milsim-lover teams if participate. max 60 players roster(while playing 40v40) isnt enough, only if most of your team members are wagies.
