Keep in mind that Miya has a dominant record vs Shuton's Aegis. The only time that Shuton was able to win against him was with Olimar, if I'm not mistaken. Makes this set all the more impressive.

miya seems like a nice guy, but man I'm glad he lost here and spargo tears through this tournament, cause japanese bias is making me go insane. like in this set alone they're saying stuff maister does on a regular basis as if miya has been out in the mountains training to do shorthop bombs, run-up back air reversals after dying, and using up b to edgeguard, and then hit you with the "what a statement to mexico if the reverse 3-0". what are you on about brother? and why are we required to lump people in this community by region like we're at the olympics LMAO
and don't get me wrong, miya 100% COULD be better than maister right now and COULD be top 5 right now and japan COULD be the best region, but maaaaan people gotta keep it in their pants

Last time Sparg0 lost against Game&Watch was at the central america SWT finals (to get a spot for the SWT 2021) against Maister. That was ome of the first post-lockdown tournaments. Even if Sparg0 was close to lose against G&W players (Maister at SmashCon and Miya at Scuffed World Tour), it doesn't seem close. He is one of the best at the G&W matchups (only Dabuz is better than him in the matchup, I would say)

Porque ha sido uno de lo mejores jugadores japoneses en los últimos meses, ganando a jugadores como Acola, Yoshidora o Shuton, si bien no ha tenido muchos torneos fuera de Japón, a futuro se espera que pueda entrar dentro de los 10 mejores jugadores del mundo, no porque no sea mexicano automáticamente es sobrevalorado

Maister cuando estaba en su prime tenía varias victorias contundentes contra Samsora y Light.
También le ganó a Tweek y a T (cuando era top en Japón)
Los resultados lo rankearon en top 6 y la comunidad JAMÁS lo considero dentro del top 10 a pesar de los resultados.
Y de repente llega un random y ya lo ponen dentro del top 5? Xd
El mejor de Japón objetivamente es Protobanham, de hecho el podría y tiene el nivel para ser el top 1 del mundo si no fuera pq no va a torneos lo suficiente.
