bought a used ‘06 VX110 recently and I believe the battery had been changed not too long ago. Has been running fine for the last month or two until last week when I tried to start it, possibly after a week+ of sitting, and all I got was the green security light that came on. definitely had not been sitting for more than a week which has been typical with no problems. At times it would sort of flicker and others it would stay solid green for an extended period of time before the light went out. we did not receive a keyfob from the seller so I don’t think it could be security locked unless my boys could’ve accidentally set the security without the keyfob? Would this type of green light behavior be an indicator that the battery is low? Engine won’t even click or anything when I press the start button, just the green security light.
only thing I tried was disconnecting the positive terminal for a few minutes and then reconnected, but same green light comes on when I press the starter button and Motor still won’t start.
Wow. That Wave Runner is a mess! How did the inside of the hull get that nasty? I'm going to throw a like at the vid - because the content was decent. I wanted to see your connections on the battery. Would have maybe liked to have seen one with the breather tube hooked up. But you did explain that you are going with a different type of battery. So I get that. She cranked right up, too.
Cant remember if it was before or after this vid, but one time the fuel line exploded in the engine bay. Luckily, no fire, and the 250x towed it home off the water. But what a mess. Thanks for the like!
Perfect that's all I need to hear

How is that gel battery holding up for you
It has only been a year, but so far it has been excellent. Started right up at the start of the season.
That sucked! I need to know how to connect
All the wires including the tender plug!
