It can be a infuriating hard game at times. If you didn’t learn to dodge roll, them the omnidroid ball roll will always hit you and that drains thy health. Closer to the end of the game you will be swarmed by large number of enemies. He already talked Violets stage.
The game having them kill the characters is actually very accurate to the film. The Incredibles inspired a lot of discussion about how the kids kill the villains in the movie with no repercussions. It's a pretty dark movie, even for PG (which remember was a first for Pixar too). The game says "fuck it" because the film says "fuck it"
In the game’s files, there exists unused textures for Mr. Incredible in his office attire along with an animation of him sitting and typing. It suggests that there were going to have a stage or cutscene or something set in Bob’s work place but may have been cut due to time constraints.
When you realize that a mediocre movie tie in did mach speed sections better than Sonic ‘06 2 years before... Also, my ideal head canon is Hideo Kojima stealing the idea for the octo camo in MGS4 from the Violet stages in this game
20:52 It was Avalanche Software (DBZ Sagas and the Toy Story 3 game) who worked on Disney Infinity, not Heavy Iron. Not to be confused with Avalanche Studios, who worked on the Just Cause series.
What I find weird, is there's an incredibles 2 game, for gamecube (probably xbox and ps2 as well but I only know about it being on GC.) So they made a sequel video game years before they made a sequel movie! Inredibles 2 Wrath of The Underminer. Was a pretty...eh game.
Had this on Xbox and loved it. I also had the sequel Rise of the Underminer which of course is now not canon. Loved it. I got stuck on that swinging section with Mr Incredible you showed off inside the base, but I beat Rise of the Underminer since there is hardly any challenge except late game bonus levels. I can't find my copy of either of them, but they were good times.
Jo-Kai Gon-Zo Someone has clearly not been playing the right games. Dark Souls 1 and 2 plus the Bloodborne DLCs are some of the best I have played, and I would pay them with pride, since its actually production after the time of release. If you want, you could call the absurdly good Final Mix versions of KH1 and 2 DLCs as well, from before the term was a thing.
Good Boy Pan kept that ever Tuesday rule for 4 years and he even posts about it on Twitter he doesn't want to reduce the quality of his videos for the deadline.
the new movie is trending and they have to take advantage by adding something to their channel with their channel referencing the IP. All youtubers base their some of their content on whats relevant and viral and this guy already reviews old games and stuff. so there you go.
Battle for Bikini Bottom had plenty of development time, because Spongebob was an ongoing TV show. The Incredibles wasn't like that. With movie-licensed games, you typically are only given less than a year to make it in order to ensure it arrives in time for a tie-in. Of course Spongebob: The Movie, The Game was the same way, but since they had already developed the previous Spongebob game, they already had their controls, engine and graphics down. All they needed to do was hash out some levels and get the voice acting done.
Would you like to know something? Well you're gonna know anyway. Mh sister played this game when we were younger, and I would watch, but she never beat that level. Ever. And it haunts me to this day.
The fact that you had difficulties with this game makes me wonder how I ever did anything in this game as a kid. Also the Incredibles 2 game (which was based on fighting the Underminer was great and I had so many nostalgic memories about it.
Bobby Ferg yeah, me too. I never had any difficulty for these levels, except for the 2nd and 3rd boss levels. I only liked to fail Dash's first level just for s#$ts and giggles
I loved this game when I was a kid, haven't plyed it since then, but it made me pretty nostalgic. Particularly the first 4 levels, as at first I didn't have a memory card so I'd play games to the maximum point, I'd leave it running at night so as to not lose my progress xD
You can only imagine how much those veterans at Pixar must have sneered at this buchery. There`s lots of anecdotes of how much professional animators and artsy fartsy people in the commercial and fine arts fields hated videogames, a lot of art talent in the ps2 era (in the west) were burnouts and art school rejects lol, back when you could pùmp a AAA release with only a team of 15 people and a few months. is only the newer generation of animators thats bringing some loving for videogames, and the fact that they are now bigger than movies and don`t look terrible, polygonal and pixelated anymore.
I'm glad you mentioned the weird time kid-friendly games got T ratings. Before E10+, Snoopy's Red Baron game also got a T before it came out (lucky for them, that new rating was available by the time of release.)
On the subject of neato fun facts about that Dash section, the moving trucks that say 'Eggman Movers' on them are the moving trucks that Buzz and Woody had to catch up to at the end of Toy Story.
This game is my childhood. All i had back then were movie tie-ins, pirated Freddy fish games and crash bandicoot. Non-playable Frozone pissed me off though, Frozone was my favorite character.
I remember this game. But for some reason I don't remember it being as tricky to handle as you described. But you'd think Violet would have access to her force fields to deflect gunfire, seriously.
All I remember about this game was the trailer where a bunch of guys in Incredibles costumes were in a boot camp, and one of the guys pulled a muscle in his groin.
i really love your weird little intermission with the funky music, makes me feel like im watching some nickelodeon or tv channel thing i dunno its nice lol

21:42 "Rated T for Teen"
"Disney Presents: A Pixar Film"
I think it's rated T because similar to the Shrek Xbox game, the E10+ rating didn't exist at the time.
Maria Jimena Figueroa Transformers Armada the PS2 Game, and TMNT: Battle Nexus were also rated T and was 1-2 years before the E10+ rating happened
It’s a shame that this is the same developer who made Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom and The Spongebob movie game, 2 great licensed games.
How is that a shame it sounds like they started developing better games.
Pelcogo The spongebob games came before this game.
Well 2 out of 3 is not that bad.
