good observation, ple assume animals are just dumb, i think not. i just saw a wild dog held in a lion's mouth playing dead , the moment the lion relaxes the mofo runs off. animals smart as hell.
Honestly, my favourite thing about these birds is just how happy they are to sing right into a camera. Not a care in the world about the human right up in their face. They just want to put on a good show!
This is the evidence that I've been waiting for: Human animals aren't the only artists. This bird is an artist of sorts. It perfectly reproduces sounds that it hears, same as humans when they reproduce scenes in life. This bird is a sound artist. Fascinating. It has no comprehension of what those sounds mean, it's just mimicking and reproducing them. Amazing.
A greatv mimic. I remember a friend of mine (now alas dead) and I were panning for gold in New South Wales and were entertained by a lyre bird making the sounds of traffic; chain-saws; and a skiffle group. We found only little gold...but who cared with entertainment like that.....
His lazer is awesome r2d2 is good then he takes a pic w/auto wind simply amazing bird the cocubara fools the actual bird it's so perfect mimicry so uncanny ...
And then it have seen that scene from Police Academy, where that guy is mimic a machinegun... and you flat on the floor wondering who's shooting at you. 😱🤣
@Al Pal Oh Al so clever but you're wrong about your statement. So one can conclude that if you're wrong about the small things you're clueless about the big ones.
@Al Pal You absolutely CAN'T prove evolution is true you're dumber than I thought. Darwins THEORY of Stupidity isnt fact just because they teach it as fact to indoctrinate the idiots it's still only a theory by a guy who eventually went nuts go look it up. Bet you didn't know that did you..lmao
They say this bird "sings" when it's courting the opposite sex. Now put a speaker there, and play whitney huoston nonstop. Next time, when it's courting, we will hear "AND IIIIII......WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOUUUUUU....."
Wow 👍👍👍👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗!!!!! Wunderschön und gescheid 😘!!!Ich liebe dich!!!! Unglaublich!Außergewöhnlich!!!!Nat a mol a Mensch kann so was!!!!Erstaunlich!!!!! Er ist der beste 🥰!
Love that noise... sounds like shooting a laser gun and this little chappy loves it too. you can see as hes soo proud to look into the camera while doing
Yes the mimicking they have of other Australian native birds is amazing as once camping down the bunnawangs south coast of nsw in the morning we heard a chainsaw as was close to our camp spot , but after looking around the heavily forested area there was no one around., then we spotted it the aussie lyrebird . No lie !
It shows God has a sense of humour for this bird to mimic sounds , We had an African grey he learnt many words he would answer the phone before me after it rings my wife was in the conservatory around November 4years ago the bird has she was adjusting some curtain then said what are you upto not a lyre bird but still entertaining.
I think it can you you its daily activites by the sound of its lyrics... this shows people where its been and what it recalls.... its a language of its own
A brilliant example of exquisite beauty hidden behind a 'plain jane' exterior that doesn't reveal itself until it voices an astounding ability to memorize then replicate the many varieties and intricacies of sounds it has heard. A wonderful example of how so many human beings can get the true concept of 'beauty' so utterly wrong.
I swear I hear him imitating what sounds like radio static on a walkie then some garbled voice transmissions a couple times. Like he has been listening to groundskeepers or a crew of people working in the area. I would be super careful what you say around this little guy ^_^
Very very interesting video dear friend ❤ Really enjoyed watching Thanks for sharing this with us giving another a big Big like thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍👍 See you again take care God bless you continue 🙏🙏🙏🙏🕊️
WOW! So beeindruckend und faszinierend. Dieser Vogel ist ein super Künstler. Dieses Video brachte mich zum lachen, da er echt lustige Geräusche nachahmt. 👍👍👍👍 Klasse Video 😃👍
I’m now in love with this bird species.... wow 49 years I’ve missed em lol.... I’m goin to Australia. Hope they don’t keep these in captivity- beyond zoos that is and even that’s sad but het then we get this and the additional ability to love em I suppose.
these birds would be dangerous if they knew what they could do with these calls/sounds. i'm surprised that hollywood hasn't made use of these birds in some spy movie plot.
The first part of this video makes me think this bird witnessed someone stealing a car's wheels using power tools and then the alarm going off in the process.
Basically a living sound recorder.
Basically, a living beatbox.
😂😂😂
With more than 50 gigabytes of memory 😂
micro SD procesador de alta capacidad
You don't get how good this bird is at mimicking: it's also incorporating the spatial resonance/echo it heard to these sounds.
YUP. unique, better than a parrot. Someone neddss to get a grant for a research edxperiment
Yes that was incredible
Chris Musix yep!
good observation, ple assume animals are just dumb, i think not. i just saw a wild dog held in a lion's mouth playing dead , the moment the lion relaxes the mofo runs off. animals smart as hell.
You don't say.
He's got the shutter sound of a camera down perfect one part you can even hear the film winding!
I hear a man's voice as well
the laughing kookaburra call is also pretty dead on.
Help I'm addicted to this bird 😭 they are sooo unique
Amazing creatures . Not only can they produce such a broad range of sounds , they can hear a sound , mimic it and remember it. Extraordinary.....
Honestly, my favourite thing about these birds is just how happy they are to sing right into a camera. Not a care in the world about the human right up in their face. They just want to put on a good show!
It was actually the opposite, he jumped up to me and got in my face and performed🙂
@chrisholwell7929 That only makes it better! It knows it's a star, and wants the world to know it too
This is the evidence that I've been waiting for: Human animals aren't the only artists.

I'm not a lyrebird lady but I'm totally convinced. I'm in love with this little guy.
Ok freak out of it
The most talented bird of all birdies!
Star Wars + Jurassic Park = Lyrebird....
Owning one of these birds would become maddening
😂😂i would only sing opera arias or play instruments . So he would mimick those😂
I don't think owning any bird is a good thing. They are surely meant to be free (as a bird)?
especially if they mimic the doorbell at all hours
@@UA-camTookMyNickname.WhyNot pretty sure nobody needs a permit to own a goldfish...
@@UA-camTookMyNickname.WhyNot "any fucking animal of the world" ring a bell to you?
Imagine how good he would sound if he was raised amongst opera singers. Just saying
Someone start a GoFundMe to raise Lyrebirds among opera singers.
@@cold_static ahahahhahaha yess lol
Actually I think I prefer what he's doing right now!
That is genius! :-)
Or Death metal singers.
That bird looks like it actually wants you to hear the noises... just staring at the camera performing 👌🎶🔊👏
Imagine having this bird outside your bedroom window every morning!!
And then it have seen that scene from Police Academy, where that guy is mimic a machinegun... and you flat on the floor wondering who's shooting at you. 😱🤣

What a precious little birdie!
Замечательная птичка.Часто слушаю.
Imagine this amazing bird hearing The Predator and start mimicking it at the zoo or even in the forest - there'll be a lot of terrified people.
I laughed my arse off at the mental image of a lyrebird repeating Arnold's line:
_"You are one ugly motherfucker."_ *kookaburra noises*
The laser gun sound is amazing 🤩
@Al Pal Chainsaw according to the BBC.
Which i could see. A chainsaw sitting there popping at idle
He loves the phaser sounds. Most amazing bird. What was God thinking when he created this bird!!!!!
@Al Pal I think not Al evolution really?
He did it for entertainment purposes..
@Al Pal Oh Al so clever but you're wrong about your statement. So one can conclude that if you're wrong about the small things you're clueless about the big ones.

I feel you bro, God is kind. He wants us to be happy
This bird is like Michael Winslow. Love how perfect he makes the sounds.
Yes, I'd be interested in a competition between them.
Lyre birds are amazing. This one has a target eclectic mix of sounds to say the least.
Winner: America's Got Talent 🏆
Nope. Winner: Australia's Got Talent. 🏆
Australian talent
He just need a sob story.
They say this bird "sings" when it's courting the opposite sex.

Unbelievable. Thanks for the upload.
1:31 Laser rifle ran out of ammo
Fantastic Bird !
This bird does not appear to have its own voice. Imitation of voices it hears is its voice. Truly nature’s wonder!
Да, действительно удивительная птица, Вот себе бы такую...
I dislike the piano in the background, i wanna hear the bird !
Oden i
That is the lyrebird mimicking music
Its Guitar and Piano actually

Yes piano sucks :(
This bird probably can cure us by sounds using the 6 solfelgio healing tones .

I love this bird!!! Ist die Natur nicht das allerfaszinierendste und schützenswerteste???!!! ❤
I like the car alarm 🚨 and the camera shutter/winding up ….it seemed like at the very end he was waiting for his treat for his vocal abilities!
He's so busy talking, when did he find the time to listen and record?!!!
Underrated comment
Should bring this bird to beatboxing competition.
I could watch all day
It shows God has a sense of humour for this bird to mimic sounds , We had an African grey he learnt many words he would answer the phone before me after it rings my wife was in the conservatory around November 4years ago the bird has she was adjusting some curtain then said what are you upto not a lyre bird but still entertaining.

This is heart-breaking. I can hear the sound of automatic saw and monkeys together...
I swear I hear him imitating what sounds like radio static on a walkie then some garbled voice transmissions a couple times. Like he has been listening to groundskeepers or a crew of people working in the area. I would be super careful what you say around this little guy ^_^

Beautiful singing bird
When it produces various calls, its beak moves like an upside down VU Meter.
I want to kiss this bird
these birds would be dangerous if they knew what they could do with these calls/sounds. i'm surprised that hollywood hasn't made use of these birds in some spy movie plot.
this lazer kick and bass is a fire, one of the best hardcore track
Its amazing how he imitates background sounds as well...
The bird is not copying any sound or voice, it's natural sound the bird is making
This is the perfect mascot for Michael Winslow XD
IT IS BEAUTIFUL BIRD
It's like a TRANSFORMER, just the difference being it can imitate any kind of sound!!!!
So awesome ❤❤❤
Cosa mas hermosa hizo Dios.
From 4:03 to 4:07 he literally imitated a picture being taken and then being zipped up in a bag💀
I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT THIS, \I see it now. \lyrebird puffing out for a mate, imiatation is the best form of flattery among lyrebirds
He does the camera shutter so much because people keep snapping pictures of him! OMG What an amazing bird!
Somebody please give that bird a glass of water
Oh... reincarnation is now have a proof... one of them died but reincarnated as a police student from the movie: "police academy"
Michael Winslow--walking sound effects machine
Beautiful vocalist
I can hear he's imitating an ambulance, a chainsaw and frogs.Amazing!
Wow, it praises Almighty heavenly Father
God is great
The first part of this video makes me think this bird witnessed someone stealing a car's wheels using power tools and then the alarm going off in the process.
Show off... 💗
Now that's a great DJ
