Hey Richard, Hope all is well and Shrive is wearing a lot of them out seeing that he fishes so much. I'm still wearing the same Dryfts. Happy Holidays to you!
My uncle wants to go upstate and fish Babb’s Creek this spring. Have you guys ever fished that.we drive through it every year in bear season. Should say almost every year. We try not to be like those guys that need to get rescued. Lol
Those are the wooden, rubber coated mesh nets we sell at livelylegz.com. If you are looking for a nice net at a good price check them out. Best of luck as you get out on the water.
I've had mine for 5 years and landed several jumbo. Also, little brookies don't fall through which is ideal . Hooks don't get caught either. Fantastic net

Watching Big Shrive immediately cast into a tree makes me feel a lot better about my fly fishing skills....I do the same thing
Heck ya, it is all part of fly fishing and we all do it. Best of luck as you get out on the water.
The worst is when you get a dropper rig all tied up, ready to hit the water, first cast - TREE!
Ha ha, yes it is. Or cast out and instant snag!
Great video
Thanks Patrick and hope you all are getting out and enjoying some water as well.

What’s your guy’s favorite flies for stockies this time of year?
It can be hard to beat Y2Ks and attractor nymphs for the fresh ones. All the best to you as you hit the water and Happy Holidays.

Shrive was using a Mono Rig, I (Benny P) was using Euro line with a small stream leader. Hope you get out and into some as well this winter.
