Today is the anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo, in 1815, which vanquished Napoleon and made the Duke of Wellington world famous. It’s nice to see the current Duke and Duchess of Wellington in the King’s carriage today.

Did you see the men remove their hats while the National Anthem was played. Being in carriages the could not rise so hats were removed in respect. American's are supposed to do that during parades and also when the flag is being carried.
@@ngyuen1688 In America, for the National Anthem and the Flag, everyone is supposed to stand, men are supposed to remove their hats (indoor or out) and place them across their chest and women are supposed to place their right hand across their chest. My husband and I (both veterans) have taught our son - but no one else, unless they were in the military seem to know this.
