Besides using bait to fish. Time of the day is a factor as well. Fishing at night takes longer because the water is cold and the fishes go to the bottom. It doesn't matter how close or far off the shore you are.
watched on a single breath! CONGRATS!!! now you got into!!! this is the only one game makes you sweating seeing other player even after 3k ingame hours!
The best thing about days is the learning how it all works, it's not easy at all, and takes time to adapt, your frustrations are hilarious, as we've all been there, though we don't admit that, LOL.
A lot of the confusion about the flagpole kit is because base building requirements can differ from community server to community server. When playing a community server, it's important to get all this info (and any special rules) from the Discord before you play. It could have saved a lot of pain. On vanilla you usually need some sticks and rope (not sure how many sticks as dont really build bases). Then you need logs and rocks to complete the base and pole, and of course a flag so that stuff does not despawn within 2 weeks.
I don't know about the server that you played on. But flagpoles are only needed later on. It's not a requirement to build bases structures. But, the structure will despawn after 14 days. If you build a flagpole and raise a flag, all the structures in a radius of 40 meters will not despawn. Be aware that the flag automatically starts to lower down after a few days. So you have to rise it up manually.
Attu: "Hello?" Dead Guy: "Hello" Attu: "I'm gonna need your shit" Then proceeds to killing him🤣🤣 I'm so glad we completed the mission. Happy to have tons of loot to go back to in between Delta Force streams. You the man👍🔥
Hardest thing absolutely. My first base I locked myself out of with a bike lock. I set the pin. Got shot, died, got my stuff back and put the lock on the door not realizing the code wasn't the set.
Them knowing which building you were in with a squad of zombies on alert outside the door does not mean "stream sniping" lmao, it's cringe when streamers think everyone who engages them is a stream sniper xD
Yeah I know it's cringe. There was one zombie outside when I went up there though and I honestly am to new to the game to be aware of these tracking methods. From the start where they where running around my buried area to start charging me also felt strange. But I honestly don't know, could have all just been coincidence.
@@attursson DayZ admins are pretty good at tracking down potential stream snipers if you're on their discord and make sure to report suspicious activity.
I'm nearly at this point too. So close. I just need a hand saw damnit!! Then I could create a storage somewhere and get stuff together from a base. My current 20ish hour life is going so well I'm just waiting to get killed by some ghillie sniper

Hardly ever use worms to fish, still catch plenty, and loads of wellies too, lol.

Just keep thinking steps ahead once it all clicks it will make sense why the games still strong 10 years later
I mean this was a huge step if I ever want to try hard a PvP server like this when it wipes again.

Recommend you fold that kit up so it doesn't get in the way again
Glad for you that you chose to play 1pp vs 3pp. Wise choice.
