When you win an award like Offensive Rookie of the Year, you get a development trait upgrade and a bunch of XP. Also during staff week, older players regress they’re overall based on their position and madden filters out what players it wants to be star or superstar or whatever. They have an adjustable desired blank trait players in franchise settings, so look through that and change it if you want
