18:13 Neil, you are using arcade mode for a manual vehicle. When it gets to its “designated” shift point, it will shift gears and you’ll lose all power. Switch to Realistic gearbox and then you can shift with A and X on controller. Or in this case, keep it in first gear watch the thing crawl its way up. I’ve also mentioned before that doing this with manual cars can give more speed on car jump arena. LB turns into your clutch with Realistic gearbox… so when your car gets to its max rpm and max speed, press the clutch and the car will go faster because the engine is no longer holding it back. I think some of your jumps are severely undercut because gravity didn’t help achieve maximum potential.
i set up my controller to have forward as throttle and back as brake on my right joystick and also binded the clutch to the L2 trigger so i could slip the clutch and let off smooth like a real car, makes the game so much more fun
I'm at least 90% sure that's what it's supposed to be. Medium Duty is kind of a catch all for these chassis cab 4500, 5500, and 6500 trucks. We got training on these kinds of trucks at my dealership a few months ago.
If i'm correct the MD series is based on the 1980-1994 medium duty Ford F-series and the first gen Chevy Kodiak/GMC TopKick. I love the Fords and the Kodiak is pretty decent in SnowRunner
The couches on the back of the stripped version is to add weight and stability (if you've ever drove an empty truck bed on wet surfaces you'll know what I mean)

The point of medium duty trucks is so you can own a commercial truck without needing commercial vehicle insurance or a license. Hopefully thos is reflected in career mode
By my best estimation, the MD series is based off 2 GM trucks, the antique version looks like a 68-72 GMC ME-6500 with square headlights instead of round, and the newer model looks like the 90s model GMC C60 Kodiak!

Also while it is true that the D-Series has a little Ford in it, I'm not sure whether the "early" grill is vanilla or modded, but I can see it since we have a bullnose F-150, but the base of the truck is based off of the 90s GM

@Neilogical On the CJA once you reach the rev limiter set the gears to neutral on automatics or press the clutch on manuals. This will let the car gain more speed on the slope.
We need more work on tire collisions and window collisions. I hope to see better visuals for these in the future. I would also like to see better detachable interior parts it’s kinda crazy how a lot of the little interior parts don’t break off when in a wreck.
Looking at the stock MD, if it was a real truck I'd guess it's either a 1 ton or 2 ton truck. It looks nice. A truck has dual wheels for supporting more weight. If they add a simulation for the fluid moving around in the tanker truck, you'll have a whole new challenge added to your driving experience (speaking as an ex-trucker who hauled liquid cargo once).
I put awd on that logging truck with lockers and left the splitter in so I had some insane low range so it pretty much crawled over Jungle Rock Island, couldn't see sh!t through the trees or over the bonnet lmao.
I really hate how the devs don't care about some of the objects in this game being destructiable , there are a lot of objects fences that indistractable and it really ruins the immersion in this game
use left CTRL and grab the body parts so You can repair bumper for example. Also You can use scroll up and down to adjust the force while holding some part, or click scroll to hook that point in to something.

No, it's probably because the pillow has a very basic node layout to save performance.
