I've had the Cloud couch for 3 years now and it's a love/hate relationship. It should be called a Slouch Couch because the back is so low you're forced to slouch 😢 The cushions go flat constantly so it's usually rock hard. I ended up taking off most of the back and side cushions because there wasn't a whole lot of seat space left (classic size, Luxe might be better) Recently I took the covers off and now the seat cushions are staying fluffy and just covered with a soft blanket. A big Pro is that every piece is slipcovered so fabric can be laundered (mine needs dry-clean only) My dream couch was the Cloud in white and I have it. I keep reminding myself lol throughout my disappointment in it 😅 I checked into the replacement slipcovers in Dove or Sand Performance Velvet and it's over $7,700! I paid just under 10 three years ago for 2 corner chairs, 2 ottomans and 1 armless chair. So yeah I have my dream couch lol Slouch Couch
My RH maxwell sofa had a "Made in China" sticker on the bottom that I had not noticed. Did some research and found out they moved their manufacturing to China. Everything they sell is made in China. Caught me by surprise. I was blown away. I'd always wanted to buy RH furniture because it was made in the USA and looked gorgeous. The price didn't matter. Now, I look to Crate & Barrel among other brands.
Note to self before actually going to buy this cushy comfy cloud for my bottom. Here’s the thing: "The feathers and down found in most, but not all, bedding and clothing is a by-product of dearly departed waterfowl that have been slaughtered for food purposes. The plucking of live birds, while once commonplace, is now said to be more of a rare occurrence and has been outlawed in the United States and in several European countries. Still, the practice of live-plucking ducks and geese does reportedly live on at factory farms in countries such as China, Poland and in feather powerhouse Hungary, where PETA estimates that 50 percent of down and 40 to 45 percent of feathers have been live-plucked by experienced “rippers” who are paid piece-rate. So to answer your question, yes, animals have been killed in the creation of your new comforter and pillows although it’s tough to say whether they were methodically harmed in a rather painful and cruel manner (I’ll spare you the gory details) before eventually being slaughtered for food."
I wish they would explain to you how sloppy it looks after you have sat in it . Very disappointed . Spent over 9000.00 and it looks so sloppy . I should probably mention that the fabric gets wrinkled and stays that way EVEN after you fluff them up.
I am considering purchasing "The Cloud", classic size - can anyone give updates on how their couch is holding up over time? Feather vs Feather/Down? And ultimately - is this couch worth it? We live in Hawaii, so I will be paying ginormous shipping fees (splitting it with friends who are going to add to my order, but still...). And what podcast is mentioned in the comments? Anyone know? Mahalo for your time :)
I have pure feather in one section and feather wrapped core in another. Both excellent. Two years later it's every bit as comfy as it was new (when you posed that question, lol)!
Jeffrey Parke wait around for deals man its possible to get each piece for ~400cad after tax ;) trust the universe send out positive energy But i agree the original price is a joke
@caitlin slomski Someone who should be fired for promoting bad hygiene. Such a bad look for RH especially now with COVID. Even more reason to LEAVE YOUR SHOES AT THE DOOR when entering someone’s home.
So triggered by his shoes on the couch. RH brand basically promotes poor hygiene. Imagine walking down the street, stepping in someone’s phlegm (Covid infected worse case) and then putting your feet on the couch. I would divorce him... and fire the marketing director for this promo while I’m at it.
There you go projecting again. See thats the problem with people like you is that you assume things believing them to be fact, conjuring up story in your mind stemming from the wounded fearful ego. (Ewwwwww I'm sooooo triggered, let me spew my bullshit judgment on to you to make myself feel better) 😘🤣🤪
@@Brit-hi8lf Listen, when you’re all grown up and you’ll be able to afford your own sofa then you can stomp on it with your shoes all you want. Hell, I’ll even come and help you do it! Until then, listen to your ma when she tells you no shoes in the house, let alone the couch. Bye bishhh

OK, but why does he have his shoes ON THE COUCH.
cus he is rich, not like us
BTW why does he have his shoes on the WHITE couch?
Washable...
Because it's his sofa or maybe his company
Right!! But if he made it.. or if he bought it... I guess he can put his feet on his own couch... (not really). LOL
Why Is this filmed like an Apple commercial? Lol they should have just named the sofa the iCloud
Thugz4Real GENIUS.
Lol
This is Golden! Lmfaooo
WOW... Excellent Name.
😂
I can attest to this being the ultimate sofa. I have owned a large leather sectional Cloud for over two years now, and am absolutely in love with it.
Do the cushions deflate after sitting on them for a while
The one I got is feathers and it's sink and keep sliding towards the front have to readjust all the time...when you getup it's looks flat...

So....this is the Dyson of sofa’s?
Yes
it is literally the best sofa I've ever flopped down on
the chuckle at the end is what really does it for me
I only wish that the "Cloud" was slipcover washable. I like everything clean. ✌😷

Is that why RH is suddenly affordable and their showrooms are absolutely over the top gorgeous, they pay no human labor practically?
Most of the stuff you own is made or partly made in China.
I smoke pot and get Chinese eyes on my cloud... Puff...Puff
Your iPhone is made in China as well. Maybe buy one made in USA. Oh no there's none
Crate & Barel is also mostly produced in China
Why does this couch cost 10,000 or more. That’s what some people put down on a house.
The R&H store in Shelby County Alabama is exquisite south of Birmingham. R&H in Frontenc west of St Louis is tiny but ok.
His voice is calming for some reason lol
who is here from David's podcast?
whats the title of the podcast?
I'm here kylie jenner

No one cares, go home.
I care. Thanks for posting this, you've changed my mind about spending my money on this sofa.
Tony
it’s like all Tony’s are dicks I swear. Never met a nice one.

thank you for posting... just saved me from making same mistake!
You need to steam it once in a while. Looks like new afterwards. It is comfy as hell. They also knock the price down to 6K with all the specials.
thanks for posting this
It is filled with feathers (that’s why they are comfortable). Of course it loses its form, a brick stays the same but try laying on it
Thank you again....I hate when a sofa looks wrinkled.
I LOVE THIS SOFA!!!
I do too....
I'm making one from scratch.
Love it!... i wish to have that super soft sofa set
Damn it!!!
This video is so Good...
So Good...
Get your shoes off my couch
Grand sectional in a living room with a fire place 😍
Its furniture for the people that can afford cleaning - you will need to clean it once a month and the good quality cloud is +20k

Wouldn’t do it
Absurdly expensive.

Items are only "absurdly expensive" to people who CAN'T AFFORD them. The reality is: you simply have to earn MORE money!
Montgomery Cam Jr 10k for a sofa is absurdly expensive for a sofa... you’re not special
It’s the best. All I want in life
Absolutely my dream ❤
Omgoodness that smile :)
Can’t WAIT to get my cloud!
What da heck, it came up that this channel had 17.1 million subs???
why is this commercial in black and white?
I bought the cloud couch. Most uncomfortable piece of furniture I have ever had the misfortune to own. Expensive and miserable.
Thanks for confirming my thoughts
Hahahaha....pretentious FAIL!
So it’s completely different from the show room? Show room version of it was something I have never felt before. Dreamy...
@@bitchpleaseee yes. Very uncomfortable.
I’ll happily take it off your hands. Hopefully you have white belgian linen?
Thats my dream sofa set

Great! Now is there any way we can lower the price by like 15,000 or so? 😭
Buy from China market. The sofa is produced in China anyway.🤣
Is it made in China or the USA?
Made in China
I book it now
this sofa is for short ppl
Designer Timothy Oulton looks like he has spent way too much time sitting on the 'cloud'. ;-)

I need a couch that’s comfy on my butt implants. Anyone know how it hold up over the years?
