LOL, yes it's known in singapore... for being a headache. Too many bad reviews and too many sponsored videos like this. Good luck to those who are buying this brand. Please find honest reviews for this brand, preferably Singapore reviews.

Usually a fan of HWS content but this one kinda misses. Recommending based on the specs alone is kind of disappointing, and not something I would expect from HWS. Quality control? Dead pixel policy? Ghosting? Usually, you guys are a lot more thorough, but this one feels a bit less structured and exhaustive. EDIT, since hidden yung replies ko pag nag-reply ako (di ko sure ung intentional niyo ginagawa): Yeah, it's sad knowing you can all do better. We know it's a sponsored deal but come on-why tarnish your "no bs store" reputation by tying yourself with them? One google search for reviews on this "well-known company from Singapore", and you'd already see the terrible reviews (not just one, two, but countless people) for them: "Prism+. Worth the hype? : r/singapore" "Prism+ Monitor Company is trash : r/singapore" "Are PRISM gaming monitors still worth buying? : r/AskSingapore" [Links get filtered, just google those] To make it clear, this as genuine constructive criticism. It's just disappointing as someone who is genuinely rooting that HWS be one of the companies to change the stereotype of the PH Review Market (i.e., "okay naman, maganda naman specs, mabilis delivery"). It just comes off as a lose-lose situation for followers like us-did you sell out or did you not do your research enough?

Usually those who have problems tend to "share" their experience which is normal. However, user experience still varies from person to person. I've had this exact unit since Oct. 2022 with no issues up to present so maybe malas lang sila sa unit. Or did they even reach out for support? Daming points to consider vs famous expensive brands for the same specs.
@@kaijuTIVI Sure, that's fair, review bias. However, I still think that there is some value into looking to those sharing their experiences (Singaporean locals pa yan ha)--especially given that these are not just bad reviews, but rather there's actually a consensus about Prism (not only with their monitor, but all products in general) within multiple subreddits related to Singapore (r/AskReddit & r/Singapore). In our context, for example, Nvision's reputation is because of it's bad line of reviews and people reporting their experiences over time. People didn't get "novision" meme out of nowhere, it's based on real, repeated bad experiences. Oct 2022 to now (6 months) isn't enough to test it, since durability isn't necessarily always a problem this early. Sure, maybe "malas" sila sa unit, or siguro consider din natin the possibility that maybe "swerte" ka sa unit? Hard to tell without actual data, but consensus within a community isn't built out of nowhere. Balik ulit natin sa Nvision, I've had an 22" Nvision monitor as a 2nd monitor for about 3 or 4 years now. Would I consider Nvision a good company just because my product didn't fail (despite considerably higher failure rates reported online)? Still, no. I may have just gotten lucky. Consensus matters. And yes, there's a lot of factors to mention and consider--which is exactly the problem with this video. All they did was they mentioned the 3 specs (1440P, 144Hz, 27") without consideration for other factors that might play into considering a good monitor, especially since monitors are typically one of the PC peripheral that lasts between multiple computers. Like I said, pano na yung qual control, ghosting, dead pixel policy? It's just disappointing, given their "no bs store" reputation.
I've been using this since early Oct 2022 up to present and mounted (for at least 12 hours a day everyday). Zero issues both for work and play. Would I buy another one? Yes for a dual set up because of accounting-related work.
I also have this brand. The x240 curved. Pretty good for the price and the refresh rate. With a stunning 3 years warranty too! However, all of their monitors available in PH are VA panels. Which is a let down.
This is a pretty good competitor for the cost-effective into to Ultrawide kasi we help our fellow ASEAN countries and not feed the South Korean brands a little too much since 12k isn't a half-bad option for one's first ultrawide monitor.
Good review, HWS. I like how you touch on specs and the relevance of each spec in terms of economics versus performance. I look forward to more of your reviews, especially regarding monitors.
