Loved seeing known characters statted out in the Plotweaver system. Would love to see more of that maybe with the characters at higher level. Obviously with all the information and systems y'all've made available to us we could homebrew them but still interested in a more "canon" take as well.
Just tried out the trial version on demiplane. I absolutely love the focus on specific character goals as progression elements. It's just sad we don't have willshaper in the trail, but goddamn does this make more eager to get the Kickstarter bonuses
Apologies if I'm missing something but does this mean workform is a condensed version of original workform and dullform now? Unless I'm forgetting something, dullform was typically considered the infiltration form.
No I think that was a misspeak. Dullform is still its own thing along with mateform. And then there are three talents that grant two extra forms each resolve (work and war), finesse (art and nimble), and wisdom (scholar and meditation). Beyond that a Singer can later gain access to regalforms.
So how the RPG works from my brief overview, you get access to two default forms as a singer, dullform and mateform, then you can choose which other two forms you get access to as well.
@@obviousalias132 Ah yes I got that last part but when you look at the description for workform during the video it explains it prevents your character from being affected by exhaustion and allowing them to blend in with Parshmen. I'm just curious if it's an adaptation for the game (dullform is kind of designed to be not as useful as others so I get why people would be tempted to make it better for a gameplay experience perspective), a mistake or a change to the existing lore.
@@consolescrub4031Dullform also mentions that it can blend in with parshmen but it gives no bonuses to anything so workform is just a better version of Dullform basically
Minor error: Focus only depends on Willpower. Unless that will change which would be a huge gameplay improvement to allow less restrictive character builds. The beta rules make Intellect way less valuable than Willpower in all builds, even scholars.
the rules used in the demiplane character builder are specifically referred to as "Beta" rules so I wouldn't be surprised if the final version does use the higher of INT and WIL rather than always WIL.
I would like to see rolling for starting stats be supported. Having only a point system can cause every character of each archetype to feel cookie cutter, and if you want to avoid that it feels like you have to intentionally make your character bad
Love the fact that you chose Rlain! It's way more interesting than choosing a main character who we already know so much about!

This is so awesome. I can't wait to play an Awakener. I hope that is the next World/Book/Magic
Oh my but a horror campaign on Threnody would be amazing!
Next is Scadrial, then Sel, I believe.

@@RealMythix Cool cool. If workform is the infiltration form now, may I ask what benefits dullform provides if any?

Is Cosmere nexus going to function similar to something like DND beyond? It looks like it but I wanted to confirm
The app is demiplane and yes I believe so.
Yes!

I hope this is something they add, I hate restricted builds. I want navani as a 3 int and not be limited

And it would make it the same as how maximum Investiture is calculated, except with the cognitive stats rather than the spiritual ones.

@@007Rincewind That's basically exactly the problem I ran into too.
Awesome!
Please demonstrate the other VTT tools too :)
Will we see paths for Radiants with corrupted Spren, or is that still being kept hush hush?
How do we export this character into roll20. the character sheet over there is not as easy to make from what I tried already
