- The final View From Here in the 2018 series sees one of Perth's brightest stars, Carla Geneve play at one of the states most iconic and important buildings, the State Library of Western Australia.
There is something eerie and mysterious about a library once it has closed, the quietness takes on another level and who better to punctuate that then Carla Geneve, with her witty and wonderful take on the world.
Carla Geneve is a story teller, her lyrics tell us about the world around her and the perfectly sum up the West Australian experience in so many ways. Carla along with her band run through three songs on the third floor of the library with the Perth city skyline in the background.

90 likes? Really? Unbelievable. Carla Geneve should be a household name. I predict she will be. She knows how to write great songs and the voice is a killer. I agree with the comment below as well. Drummer and bass player are amazing. Such great colour and contrast in her songs. So damned glad I have discovered her music. What a talent.
