Equalizer shits on all over the JW series. First of all, McCall has a personality, John does not. Then there is the charisma and especially the acting talent of Denzel - as much as we all love Keanu, but he has no acting talent whatsoever. And lastly, the Eq movies has some heart and at least slightly plausible action scenes in it. That being said, the 3rd Eq-movie was very bad.

The Equalizer series is a great companion to the John Wick movies. I love them both equally for similar and different reasons.
