Prince Andrew is the typical spoilt brat that threw his weight about. It worked for a huge part of his life, then it started to unravel. These brats never seem to have a filter and think they can do whatever they want. Then he’s bewildered when he’s pulled up. Zero self awareness and respect for others.

Andrew was grifting, just like he and the the rest of his family have done for centuries. Now he can’t do state sanctioned grifting anymore he only has his own private form of it. The only thing he can leverage though is his royalty, he has no talent, no skill, just he is the brother of the king. He knows nothing else, has the inbred arrogance and stupidity of all the royals and this is a recipe for disaster as has been clearly demonstrated. Can you image what the rest of them would be like if the state turned off the money tap? They would never work, just become a criminal enterprise and should be abolished.

in much of the US, people believe the US press that says the Royals control much of the press in the UK. Sure they have people complaining, but there is always the very pro royal person to stand up for them. Then when Andrew had done something that the rest of the world found shocking, the press made sure Harry and Megan were thrown under the bus and horrific things were said about them. No one suggested Andrew be flogged in public. Turn on the BBC and it was all Harry and Megan are annoying, and Andrew was tricked into posing for that photograph and she was legal in the UK! He will stay, nothing will happen, and I'm sure other royals are selling their proximity to the top. Didn't Prince Edward and his wife do so in the past?

Prince Andrew is not the only one. Prince Charles was also taking bags of cash from Arab doners wanting UK citizenship instead of using some of his vast amounts if cash to support his charity work is a problem. Now he is king and can't be prosecuted. Who says he is not continuing this practice. The other problem is that all working members of the family have to rely on the monarch or the next in line for their daily bread, which is also a problem. It's time a modern way is worked out for working members of the family to have proper salaries and benefits and employment contracts. If that were the case, Harry wouldn't have exited the way he did or perhaps at all. He would have a good case. If as an employee he said his wife and himself were suffering significant mental health issues because of their work or otherwise and asked for a reduction in hours worked and was refused. He would have an excellent case for constructive dismissal and be entitled to compensation. This will continue to happen as long as there is no formal agreement about working hours and a proper pay structure. Sarah Ferguson got herself in trouble the same way. Meghan did significant work on behalf of the royal family and was paid nothing, not even a clothing allowance, and Harry's stipen was not increased to reflect that he had become a married man with a family. How long did they expect Meghan to continue to represent the institution for free, depleting her own earned resources to benefit the country and crown. While Kate was financed. That was not fair. She was singled out for unusual treatment. So anyone saying she was welcome needs to think again. The home the queen offered they paid market value rent and refitted out the accommodation at their own expense. Yet all the negative publicity they got none of this was explained. They allowed the media and public to think they were financing her, so he was entitled to attack her for how much she spent on clothing. It's totally unfair. It all needs more transparency who gets what and how much. They gave Andrew a home with 20 or 30 rooms clearly too much for him on the income he was getting and did not provide for how he would pay the huge cost. A more modest home, such as the Sussexes, should have been what he should have. Harry said they were offered grander properties, but they could not afford the bills, so he was happy when they were offered Frogmore Cottage even though it was in ruins. How is Prince Edward paying for Bagshot Hall even grander, and until recently, they didn't seem to work that much, especially Edward doing royal duties, so who is paying the huge bills they must have. Why does a family of four need such a massive property. Why isn't it sold or rented, and they get a more modest home. There needs to be more scrutiny. A body should be set up to see where all the taxpayers' money is going and make sure the public is getting value for money. When the government is taking away heating stipen for the elderly it's the least we should expect.

Cannot understand the rejection of his own son Harry and of his family, never even having time to meet him or support Harry's philanthropic endeavours, but keeping Andy safe from public and even legal scrutiny. Was it worth paying millions for Andy's sins, rather than donating those money to the poor and hungry? Why has the King thrown his son and family in the lions cage? What wrong have they done in comparison with Prince Andrew???

Refreshing to see someone not buying the line on Harry and especially Megan, while contrasting it with Charle's dithering over his brother's transgressions.

The King could accentuate the first and solve the latter by dint of refurbishing one of the rooms used as cells in the Tower of London. Think of the advantages. A meaningful role plus somewhere Andrew could afford to live and a meaningful role in our rich pageantry.

A valid question would be why does access to the Royal Family creates a national security problem? Maybe the monarch does not need to be briefed on sensitive matters of state. They are supposed to only be a constitutional monarch. A figure head. The need to know should extend to their schedule for garden parties and the like, and nothing else.

The sad part is that his daughters seem like intelligent young women and mothers who could help out the royal family with official duties. But Andrew is ruining their chances. I understand that kicking someone out of the royal family is rare but also severe. Still, he learned NOTHING, NOTHING PERIOD, and ignores the King's demands, he leave the royal home he is occupying. Let's admit the press is guilty also. We always hear, "The royals have the press in their pocket." People claim that Megan and Harry were thrown under the bus (possibly double-decker) to distract from Andrew and Epstein. Megan was annoying but could have been educated, and the family could have helped her adjust and feel less lonely. She has adorable children, and we all have an annoying relative. But when a member of the press calls for her to be whipped naked, and people assume she's done something horrific (far worse than Andrew, who no one has mentioned any severe punishment), it does take the heat off Andrew, a born royal.

There was nothing annoying about Meghan and she was very educated before joining that family. The so-called royal protocols were highlighted just to make her look bad. Meghan never had a chance in that family. I'm glad she left.

Beijing currently suffers negative inflation with markedly declined production signifying economic depression; something Andrew is presumably cognizant, so Chinese actor scene appearance should raise immediate personal princely concern. I assumed he reads the Economist, Financial Times, and Wall Street Journal. Does he receive Bank of England briefings? Or MI5/MI6 security summary....

I am proud to have been a supporter of the Royal Family for most of my life. However, despite all the claims of diplomacy and promotion of UK plc, one man has constantly brought his family in to disrepute. Andrew. He just seems to have such an overly-evolved ego. It doesn't matter what he does or those around him do, he will get away with anything. I struggle with the fact that he paid £12,000,000 in an out of Court settlement for an alleged sexual encounter. How was he able to secure such a sum of money and how could he justify a sum that equals a win on the national lottery? This was not an actual admission of guilt be by God if it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck ...

I have researched to my own satisfaction from several sources, contemplated the evidence gained and made a well balanced determination of my own. As for political decisions, these are outside my remit and while I detest the highlighted policy, it has been mitigated and, thankfully for a change, has not been reversed due to external pressures.
