How do you compare this to ACE. Especially for kid with learning disabilities?

They are very different. ACE can be done very independently and is more black and white. TGTB can also be independent but depending on age may need help from parent. It is also more colorful.

@@katielyn9736 does tgtb take the child longer to complete each lesson....I keep seeing comments from other mothers about their kids crying at the table because lessons are taking 40 mins or more 😬 I'm thinking maybe ace is the best choice but I'm torn lol

Do your boys find the stories in the readers interesting? I’ve heard some people say they love it; and some say that boys especially get bored with the stories so the parent is having to find other readers :) thanks!

Both my level one and level three son do tend to get board with the stories. I think they miss action and adventure in the stories.

Thanks for the reply. Do you recommend any readers for them? I heard the all about reading readers are actually interesting even if you don’t use the whole program.

We have a ton of different levels of readers that I usually get at Goodwill or Costco. We used the Bob Readers when they FIRST learned how to read and then switch it up. I also love to look at book lists by grade level.
