The child is supposed to check it him/herself. Also, you remove that test & do it at after the Pace is completed.
The younger grades have a separate pace set for the literature part of it. It’s called Literature and Creative writing. And you need the literature book that goes along with it. This curriculum is called A C E. Naming each letter
I was really impressed with their 9th grade Geography.
Thank you! We used paces last year (grades 3,4,6) and did something different this year. We're planning to go back to it next year, and this was really helpful! I was nervous about using it for high school. I love that your son enjoys it, and there seems to be room for electives with A.C.E. or other curriculum. I also check through my kids' paces rather than having them check it themselves. I know they have a specific method for the schools, but I find it helpful to know what they're learning and go over things I notice they consistently miss. 😊❤️

I'm considering ace English for my upcoming 7th grader and am curious how you liked it?
advise ace lower grades have a program called literature and creative writing that provides the reading part of language arts
We have been using ACE this year and we really like it. We do Word Building, English, science, and social studies. We use Teaching Textbooks for math too.
I haven't tried word building. How and what is that exactly? I want to look into science. Do you like that?
Katie Lyn yes! We really like it all. The word building has lots of repetition. My two don’t struggle too much with spelling but I like that it also has vocab, word roots etc. the science has simple experiments that can be done. They are going to draw the solar system to scale later this weekend. I like that they are at the start of the pace and the work in the pace isn’t dependent on them. We usually save them for the weekend. Mine are doing 5th grade paces in most things.

We have really enjoyed PACES. We also did Rod and Staff in the younger grades for several years. Next year we are going to give the Good and The Beautiful a try.
@@katielyn9736 I have looked into the Good and the Beautiful but not the Rod and Staff yet. I work full time so I figured the ACE curriculum for next year would be the easiest to do under my circumstances. I look forward to hearing of the Good and the Beautiful goes for you next year.

A.C.E is good for the most part but for me math, science, and history is quite lacking
