I'm not really a piano player, but I'm actually thinking about dragging out my keyboard and learning this to impress a friend of mine that plays piano. Haha, if he lets me use his keyboard at school and if I can memorize this after time. Thanks, man. :)
This helped, but I noticed that you did something completely different on the left hand when you put it all together at around 5:15, since I've been playing for 8 years I was able to pick up on it and do that, but I'd recommend teaching others how to do that too, cause not everyone can just do that.
I appreciate you doing this simplified version and wanted to recommend it for a student. However, at 1:50, you say to play "G and A together" while you are playing G and B. Since I don't have time to watch to see if there are other mistakes, I won't be able to use it.
Hey, do you have the correct sheet music or are you going by ear? I have the full proper sheet music here for the song in my sheet music book. If you want I can send it to you.
I have the ORIGINAL sheet music. It's much harder by measure 4. It's CGE, BGD, BGD, G...and the bass is going C G C----- E...I can't get the E to play right :P I can do just the treble part
i loved this tutorial and i learned the song in no time but you messed up on one of the notes you played it right but you said it was an a but it was a b
You instructed us to do one thing then went super fast when you put them together and did your own thing not what you just showed.. I've been playing for long enough that I could easily pick up what you did but to make it easier for others please stick to what you showed and play slow together the first time don't just rush into it.
I gave up after the first 5 notes. This was my mom and dads song but then my dad killed his self so I was going to play the song for my mom. Now I can’t.
yo dude first off I'm not trying to bitch about you going fast or anything like everyone else I wanna say thank you because I'm just learning and this is fun as fuck and one of my favorite songs, that being said I'm so confused with the left hand...😂😂 like I've got the right hand down pretty well and I think I have an idea of what the left hand is supposed to do but not positive, so if you reply to this vid still I'd love the help if not no problem take it easy man thanks again!!🤘🤘✌✌🇺🇸🇺🇸
This will get you by, but it isn't very accurate. I don't even hear a fifth on the first note of the song, but rather a G by itself with the E bass note. I'm glad people share on UA-cam, but if what your teaching isn't accurate, I think you should at least mention it so people know they're getting a loose translation of the song and not the 100% accurate version.
What the heck was that at 5:15?? You completely played your own thing and not what you just instructed at all. If you're making a tutorial then play what you're teaching.
TiMoune Cooper That's the great thing about playing music is that you don't have to do the same thing every time. You have the ability to change things up and play the way you feel the song should sound.
yeah but if your teaching someone else, you cant tell them one thing then do another . I change things up myself when I play but first I gotta get the notes right . so you should have played the left hand like you instructed in the video together with the right hand and then did your own thing after you made sure your viewers got the "original" intro down . Otherwise its confusing .

Hi, can I ask a copy of the music sheet of this song?
I have the ORIGINAL sheet music. It's much harder by measure 4. It's CGE, BGD, BGD, G...and the bass is going C G C----- E...I can't get the E to play right :P I can do just the treble part
@ross19902008 yes he does i noticed that too
Quite useful even to a seasoned performer, but you'd sound much better without that unecessary pedalling
are you playing playing sus2 chords in the the verse?
good videoooo :D
i loved this tutorial and i learned the song in no time but you messed up on one of the notes you played it right but you said it was an a but it was a b

At 1:43 I'm pretty sure a g cord is g B and c NOT A!!
I gave up after the first 5 notes.
This was my mom and dads song but then my dad killed his self so I was going to play the song for my mom.
Now I can’t.

at 1:53 don't you mean a G and B... i'm new at playing the piano
why does this guy barley gives out the website the end of the video, i had learn it the hard way then
i like this but you go way to fast at the end!!!!!!!!!!!
G and a together? or G and B Together
the news letter sign up ISNT WORKING D:
The song doesn't have octaves on the right hand. Still, not a bad tutorial.
Started off great but then went way to fast.
im so confused!!
I thought it would be easier

exactly like i followed the left hand then he completely did his own thing .

I agree, don't make a tutorial if you are going to keep changing it up. It's confusing.
You started off nice and slow then you just rushed through it,confused!
1:44 Thats a B, just saying
Dislike
