Thanks for the tips and your Audio examples are GOLDEN!! The depth of the converters on the DM3 are incredible! Please post more music bc you are the only youtuber who is showing what the DM3 sounds like. Again thank you!
I also use this mixer for live recording of a cappella groups. You have to be really gentle with the pre amp levels or you’ll get bad distortion between 3 to 7k. I can’t believe how great your recordings are! I can’t get even close to this quality and I’ve been doing this for a long time.
Sorry for late replay - I only use Logic for tracking. Occasionally I use it for cutting and fast mixing. I mix in Luna (UAD) after I have transferred the recordings from logic. Usually it is just a matter of re balancing and levelling out the mix. The DM3 has truly fantastic purity in the sound I record. The most important thing to consider is your mic quality and of course the placement of the source in the set up (And good musicians with a basic understanding of stage volume) I never intended to use this mixer in my studio set up... Only as a very compact high quality live board. Thank you for showing interest in my channel. Jan.

I record Jazz as well. I want to invest into one of these when they get released again. They're on backordered which sucks lol.
Just a question. I saw that you use Logic Pro. Can you tell me if the DM3 can control fully Logic Pro ? Thx

Jan.
About the only thing I could say is pull a little bit of low-mid out of that vocal, and you got it.
