    Thank you Chloe for this video. This voice the you are describing (the anorexia voice), is it a real voice that anorectic girls hear in their head? Or just thoughts? Thank you.

      I am not sure - i guess its your voice but skewed as the ED has taken over your own voice if that makes sense?!

    I think it's a form of o.c.d. I think you have to deal with the cause before you can recover. Avoid social media and magazines and other triggers. Try and enjoy other things in life like family and friends and focus on what you enjoy doing and try not to dwell on food all the time. Ignore it and focus on the future. There is more to life than food just be happy with the way you are being anorexic is not healthy and looks awful.

      It's a bit more complex than that!! if it were as easy as 'just be happy with living' then no one would be anorexic or they would recover asap. I guess you could say its ocd however from therapy i leant its much more deep routed and actually nothing to do with food and being skinny. There's a deeper reason and cause to anorexia which needs to be healed to prevent relapse and promote recovery.
