Buproprion ADHD Risks Doses Philadelphia

Wellbutrin or Buproprion can be used to treat adult ADHD. Our practice in Philadelphia and the Main Line may utilize this medication for depression, smoking cessation and/or adult ADHD. It does carry several risks (several can be severe) so it is important to speak directly with your provider before starting, stopping or changing dose of this medication. This medication does not have the same risks for abuse, dependence, tolerance and withdrawal that many psychiatric medications (including stimulants) carry, so for some individuals, it can be a good option.
