I absolutely enjoyed the season finale of Loki. It was very well written and done!

@@moneova1256you dropped your chromosome bro
Time tells good writing and this comment... is aging like milk. The power scaling is off so much now. No going back and we have no draw to other characters to prep for what is next. Kang is a joke after losing so often. It becomes pathetic when they "suddenly" have him winning g and even here... he loses. Baffling to call that good writing knowing what this is SUPPOSED to be prepping people for.
@@Dooger414your actually joking right kang had all of it planned from the beginning so in the end he never did loose what he wanted to happen happened end of story

@paradoxplant5070 hahaaaaaa i got that reference. Well done Zeus
Maybe this is why the TVA has so many Loki varients He Wo Remains was looking for a specific loki
Yes, he's looking for true replacement
@@adriana.5446what i still don't get is he looking for a replacement to lead the tva and protect the one true time stream? Or did he want loki to become the god at the end of time who protects all time streams? Basically did kangs plan work or not? Because now his variants will come and he didn't want that
I think ultimately his Goal wasn't someone to ultimately replace him in his chair - it was to get someone to replace him in general, but he wanted them to be worthy. Loki is different from him, he's different in general. I think the plan from the start was to let everything go awry because truly: Leaders rise up from ashes. @@Lucky-km1nt
@@Lucky-km1ntKangs plan was to close his self created time loop and make it someone else's problem and he did ultimately succeed in that.
The order of events goes as follows: the timeline splits naturally creating many different branches, each of them has a kang that wants to control time and so they fight over it. Eventually, this kang will go on to prune every other timeline to end the war yet inevitably, at some point a Loki varient will reach the end of time and kill him, causing the timelines to resume branching and another time war will occur at the same time as the original did with the same kang winning and picking up the reigns.
Once this new kang takes control, he will start noticing that he himself has already done this. That a previous kang left hints of what came before and ultimately causes kang to create small deviations with each cycle that causes them to be slightly different yet all of them eventually end the same way. With a Loki killing kang.
This final time loop is what happens if kang decided that what he was doing wasn't working, and the only way to break free of the loop was to involve even more lokis, because only a Loki can circumvent the actions of another Loki. Normally it's only 1 Loki that reaches the end of time. Now there are two and they have been played off each other by kang to have different perspectives.
Sylvyie is the normal Loki in this scenario yet our Loki has been deliberately put their to kind of watch it all go down, and then at the last second before it all loops around was sent back in time, creating his own paradox loop, that would ultimately see that the only real way to win was to willing go along with kangs plan. Kang tried spelling it out to past lokis but only through making Loki experience the time loop too was he able to finally get Loki to accept kangs offer and take control. That's why at the beginning of the season Loki was both experiencing time in the current loop after kang was killed but before the time war and also experiencing what the tva would be after the next kang wins the time war and takes over.
@@Lucky-km1nt he probably was tired, and having the sacred time stream was his way of maintaining the TVA with some semblance of peace, he did not mind another way of a leader that could ensue while maintaining the TVA and preventing the Multiversal war that would kill everyone

What he doesn’t know, is that Loki may end up trying to erase every Kang, permanently, across infinity. To preserve the multiverse. It feels like Loki will be the one to found the true Illuminati in the MCU.
And he who remains is okay with that. If removing every version of Kang maintains peace thoughout the multiverse and its branches he’s okay with it. But you know Kang has already tried that before so thats the reason why he hid his universe from the others.
@@RetroShark360 maybe the fact he himself live is the reason why he could do that?

Imagine Loki started of as the main large scale villain but ended and the last multiversal hero, the cyclical structure goes hard.
This just happened in one of the most recent comics. In his universe Loki killed off every hero and Villa knows a threat to his rule but ended up realizing millennia years later that he was wrong and ended becoming the first multiversal avenger. If you want I can find the comic for you.

You either die a villian or live to become the hero. Wait no...
Fuckin love how Loki kept the cards hidden until He who remains played all of his card.
To ensure their conversation would be fruitful, Loki basically forced him to play his hand before Loki showed his own.
Edit: I'm not gonna individually reply so I'm just leaving it here.
He who remains always acted goofy and not serious. He told Loki to go through the cycle a few more times before he came here. He even looks confused and asks if Loki still doesn't know how to stop time.
Because he thinks Loki should know but when Loki makes him believe he doesn't, He Who remains maintains his cocky know it all attitude.
Thus when Loki shows that he actually knows he can stop time.
Meaning Loki has time slipped way more than He Who remains realized.
The reason why Loki need to be the one with Cards in hand because Otherwise you can't make He who remains believable.
We as the audience can't take him seriously if he doesn't take Loki Seriously.
I saw the episode when it came out, not through UA-cam shorts.
If you watched the series you'd know He Who remained wanted Loki to take his throne. He wanted Loki to preserve the Sacred Timeline like himself.
But Loki doesn't do that. Instead he physically drags and holds the multiverse together.
That only works of Loki doesn't play by He Who Remains rule.
That's the whole point why Loki said 'What if I change the equation'.
You're free to disagree but that's my take.
Nope.😂 He who remains knew everything. Every single thing that happened even after his death😂. He eventually got what he wanted in season 1 which was loki as the preserver of multiverse
Maybe he really did go through 1000 more times but the show do a time skip without telling the audience😂
It’s like you forget that
He who remains
Wrote it all
And wrote Loki into that position
So he can take a break
Literally used loki
Does anyone know the song being used for this clip?
You're absolutely right. He who remains did know it all within the possibilities of the algorithm he created. But when Loki said how do you know this is the first time we had this conversation. He knew that he who remains was in New territory this was after the thunder crack and him admitted they crossed into a new threshold. where he wouldn't know what was going to happen from here. he who remains was no longer able to do time slippage or see into the time stream s due to the manipulating Doctor strange deal with the spell on the multiverse.loki created a new variable meaning what if I don't do things your way with your power. He who remains goal was to be in control of all outcomes so he can end up right back. But by what Loki did he who remains remains dead not in control and instead of the temporal loom that he who remains created to keep that reality intact it is replaced by Loki. Who can now keep all the universes intact with his magic n will. So instead of it being he who remains will that guides the multiverse now it's Loki. Now how long that will last we all get to see
He didn't even need a tempad to control the time like kang needs
Loki a god and a frost giant
Its cause he who remains is a scientist, he uses tech to control things, but lokis nature is being a magician. He can use that instead
Because kang make Loki loke that. It's so simple. Kang open the path to him.

Why is there a dick and a mustache on my face in permanent marker?
I like how they let Tom Hiddleston on as a director for season 2. Having the leading actor have a directing role gives a much better understanding of the emotional stakes and feelings of the characters to the direction of the piece, making a more smooth and polished production overall, even if Hiddleston didn't change it much, he would understand what the directors want from his performance much clearer by working directly with them. Great move, and if the show's writing is a product of Hiddleston's directing, I hope he directs more shows In Future.
I feel like Kang and loki are very similar men they're both tricksters they're both highly intelligent and not to mention as we know Loki becomes he who remains just like kang
Agree with you, they are very similar. Loki also gets along well with Victor Timely, Kang’s variant
Like Kang wanted all along. All part of his plan
Whats his plan exactly? He doesnt want to die and he doesnt want other Kangs to come back. So what did he want?
I get it now. He tells loki go thru this 1000 more times to get ur bearings which was loki learning everything OB knew about TVA in that centuries long time skip in order to fix the loom. Almost like HWR was teaching loki the hard way about his true powers.
what true powers
@lastraven7205 if u know the mythological or comic story of loki, those powers. He has a bunch. The MCU like having its characters learn their true powers over the course of phases instead of one show or movie

There was a lot of camera shake in this scene personally it felt reshot even though they said there weren’t any, the lighting was different the shading was different if it was intentional then fair enough. It was a good scene it just felt out of place from how it looked to the rest of the show.

As someone who liked Sylvie in s1 ,
I hated her so much in this season , it ruined the series for me , because the message now is tainted all of this could have been avoided the whole multiverse melting , the wars , people actually dying !! Just because she want to work at a fast food chain and living a normal life ?! Dude loki had to waste years of pain just to try the save everyone and then he had to sacrifice him self just so she wouldn't die !!! Come on dude at that point she deserved to die or the message is that the only way to survive is to just be the most selfish person in the universe
I liked her in season 1, but I regret her existence in season 2 as well 😔 She gives zero responsibility for her action and just asks Loki to clean up the mess. I love the ending and I love seeing Loki sitting on the throne he’s been wanting for so long, but still I feel it’s too much of a burden for him. He might still get a throne without sacrificing too much if only Sylvie weren’t too selfish.
@@eastsea22Her writing was awful.
I FUCKING ADORE how Loki let the scene play itself out. HWR was always "yap yap yap" to get under their skin. But Loki has done this shit THOUSANDS upon thousands of times. He has grown, has no hope, so he uses that to his advantage. He sees what changes in what HWR says, and then when he's heard it all he plays the next part. Brilliatnly written as far as plot AND wonderfully executed from a cinematic standpoint.

@@lolapearson6720that is actually totally incorrect.
Kang is not the creator, he didn't give them their powers, and he certainly didn't write them into existence.
He is overseeing the multiverse and maintaining it's stability, but it was something that existed long before Kang.
@@lolapearson6720That’s completely untrue, bro. All Kang did was maintain the sacred timeline and try to have Loki take on that role through his influence

hwr used technology loki used magic to control time😮
I think HWR is just training Loki to replace him. His actions make no sense otherwise. He forced loki to decide between killing sylvie or choose TVA but he paved the way for both of them to get there. He had no reason to ever let them meet nor let sylvie get here. He could easily time flick sylvie away like he already did. Therefore he presented loki with a false dichotomy of 2 choices, amd trained loki to discovet a 3rd choice, because as a God, HWR knew that only a God could discover this 3rd option.
Furtheremore, the way HWR and Loki talks is like a father son or master apprentice style. There wasnt any animosoty against each other. And HWR even taught loki how to stop time...like "im surprised you didnt figure that out yet". HWR has already lived through all of times infinjtely. He is tired at this point. He created a situation similar to how strange trapped dorrmamu except he trapped himself. He's tired of life. And only loki could find a way to break out of the time loop. Consider that out of all loki varients, he finally found the one loki that saw the big picture and would sacrifice his own life bevause he cared about his friends. NO OTHER loki cared about others. No other loki would a sacrifice. Therefore no other loki would have succeeded in breaking the false dichitomy of choice he presented to loki.
This actually was the first time they have this conversation. It’s just that right there in that moment, Loki realized he would be capable of controlling time, so he simply did it. He snapped into it. Kinda like when all of a sudden Neo in the matrix was able to see everything in code
Can you explain more...I didn't get any logic
I love how when Loki was acting like a cruel and arrogant God, he got defeated by a few humans and his brother. Now that he can stop time and keep the multiverse from falling apart, he acts like one of the best Gods there is

So they fixed him and he was able to stay put on one timeline. But as loki has been ripped violently from all time, he's now existing outside time. That's why he doesn't turn into spaghetti. And I think somehow because he's a god, this unique condition he's in gave him that ability to time slip through any time he wants and repeats it whenever he likes. Agree, HWR looks surprised and not aware Loki tricks him here. This scene convinces me that Loki ascending his throne truly with his own will, not HWR’s. Loki's my favourite too. But damn what a sad end he had.
Mobius : silvie his favorite.
He who remain : tva loki was his favorite.
Loki was my favourite since day one, never fake to his character
Kang’s biggest mistake was not remembering he’s only human. Loki is a frost giant/ asgardian who grows more powerful with age. No template needed to stop time and thousands of years to train for this very moment.
The Multiversal War is about to start and break out once again, so HWR's had to train and make sure his favorite successor and predecessor was able to handle it. That was the entire point of explaining to us what an ouroboros was, to help us understand that THIS is the beginning and also the end of the Multiversal War.
God Loki watches over time and will find a Kang variant and trains him to become He Who Remains once the Multiversal War gets too out of hand so HWRs can prune the branches and create a safer Sacred Timeline. Then He Who Remains watches over time and once Time Travel and reality hopping begins and the Sacred Timeline starts to implode, he finds a Loki variant and trains him to become God Loki so the Sacred Timeline can become the Multiverse once again and the cycle will continue.
This time, once the multiverse resets, we will get an Ultimate Marvel Universe with every Marvel property now a part of the MCU. We know the ending, Loki spoiled it back in Season 1, the fun part will be how we get there 😁

What's the point of Abbreviating the name if your just gonna say the whole name anyway?
@@wor1dconquerer170So that every time you say HWR following that, you know it’s understood
The video itself is an excellent loop of the same conversation😂
They really did Kang dirty in the MCU.
"Of the 2 of you,you're. You're favourite"
And.... that's exactly what we were thinking too🤣🤣
I’m so mad they got rid of him man. He was so good as Kang. And they had such a good opportunity to have a total badass villain for this saga. Don’t get me wrong I love doctor doom as much as the next guy, but they really had Kang looking awesome. I was really looking forward to seeing it all play out. Jonathan Majors got done so dirty. They should’ve never fired him.
