This was 100% true!! First thing that comes to mind when you mentioned nurturing from the mother, is the lack of affection that I received from my mother. It was more so my dad that was the nurturer, but I always remember being a highly sensitive little girl. I was more of a nurturer to my mom when she struggled than she was for me. I was more protective of the children around me, than some of the adults I was around at times. From as far back as the age of 5, I remember crying when I would watch sad scenes in movies; I've always been very empathic. You mentioned having a pet or something to care for and I've always had pets growing up and loved them but I think that my caring nature was shown as well through my love for my stuffed animals lol Even though they were these inadimate objects, I had so much love for them! So much that I would always make sure they were on my bed and I didn't even like them on the floor. My children are like that with their stuffed animals and they absolutely love animals!! But they are not quite as sensitive as I was at such a young age. Emotional intelligence has been a huge part of my experience and I'm naturally someone who feels my best, most purposeful when I'm caring for others but I'm also very good at self care and honoring myself. I don't really rely on others to care for me to the extent that I care. I know that I deserve love but my life doesn't revolve around the love I receive from others because I know how to love myself. I can see love in so many things and it doesn't need to be directed at me. This was a great video, thank you. 💗
My chart is all over the place. Most of what you said in this video is true. I'm very moody. Cancer rising with moon, Neptune and Uranus in Aquarius. All in the 8th house. I'm really shy and haven't grown out of it. I keep my grandma's ring close to me because I never met her. I wish I didn't have emotions sometimes.

Must be a scorpio sun cancer rising thing. I have an Aries moon but my childhood wasn’t the easiest either. I think Scorpio is a good way to balance that out. We’re very strong. I’m sure she’s a warrior and it made her stronger. At least I hope so. Praying for you and your sister. It is not your burden to bear though. Life is too short.
I'm a cancer rising, and I gotta add that how healthy or unhealthy the expression of the cancer traits depends mainly on the aspect of the ascendant to the moon (and other aspects to the moon ofc). For example, I have moon in Aries in a square to my ascendant, and I gotta tell you my relationship with my mother was indeed challenging for various reasons. One of the reasons that really left a mark on me til today is that she didn't follow her motherly instincts when nurturing me and there wasn't a deep emotional connection between the 2 of us because of her own insecurities. I don't wanna share detail but yeah... a cancer rising isn't necessarily gonna have a strong bond with the mother, but they will crave it more than any other rising sign for sure.
