Looking forward to seeing how you like the momo beam. I'm still thinking of getting one. Definitely jealous on the pile of stickers. I only got an elecraft sticker lol. You're the only UA-camr I saw all weekend.
some great stuff you got. I am over in Boston NY and can say 6 meters has been trying to open. but G5 solar storms mad a mess and was so distorted could not copy. even FT8 had decoding trouble. Gordon West covered this on Ham nation. he got recordings off 6 meters. love to see some video's on the new stuff in use. 73's
I’ve never really thought about that. I operate portable and I’m used to having a mic in one hand and a phone to log in the other. But it would be nice to have an iPad or computer that could do everything.
@@MikeN2MAK Last Christmas I helped the local radio club (KL7KC) run a Special Event and was logging between 100-125 SSB per hour. I cant even imagine logging that many per hour on paper. So yes, logging software needs to interface to your rig. Priority number 1 and it needs to work flawlessly.
I am a WRL Subscriber. Is that a new Mobile App that will coming out or just going to the Web Site via cell phone? Cell Service can be really iffy at Some POTA Parks and an app would be nice!
@@Retired_Five-0_W4WAG A mobile app is in development testing. It started as web-based, which would require an internet connection. But the mobile app should resolve that.
Good stuff I really love the options and features of that logging app
Whether it’s new logging apps or coil antennas, it’s great seeing options and competition.

I’ll definitely let you know how it goes with the Momobeam. I’m glad I saw you there again!

I’ll be trying out the Momobeam soon and definitely plan a video on it. I have already tested the field connectors and they worked too.
That was the auroral opening. Lots of contacts to be had but you have to use SSB and CW. Contacts were made up to 222 MHz.
Hmmm.. Fancy World Radio League logging software but no RIG control?

This logging program looks like a carbon copy off of PoLo.
I'm waiting with bated breath.
They said maybe by fall but they do have some made, which is a good sign.
@@MikeN2MAK oh crap. I just bought a new mini - oh well.
@@KD9ZHF ugh. The new one might not be available for a bit, so at least you got something you can use now.
