Hi.... really like your tutorials.... I am trying to make this for my grandson.... 8 years old... with Vardhman Cotton Dreamz yarn.... can you please guide me on the hook size an number of chains I need to start with🙏
When it says any multiple of 2, it means you put chain stitch that is multiple or divisible by 2 like 2,4,6,8,10....if it multiples of 3 then choose the chain stitch in 3,6,9,12,15 etc. So if the pattern says multiples of 2 plus 1 then, your starting chain can be 40+1 = 41 ch st or 58+1= 59 ch st. I hope I am making sense.

You can use the recommended hook size for the yarn you plan to use. If its 5 to 6mm, then use 6mm, it will work up faster.
