A really fantastic video. I love the detail about the different types of dinosaurs at the start of the video. The animations are brilliant. It is crazy to think that their footprints have survived 65m+ years! Beautiful place as well ❤🎉
Glad I wasn't the only one who had a hard time trying to make out some of these footprints! Great to see you back in Scotland! Hopefully you may end up your days there..like I probably will...in a nice way of course!
Hi Iain. Sometimes you think 'how do they really really know?" I guess we trust the experts. I would have walked over all the prints and thought they were just rock pools if I hadn't been to the dinosaur museum on Skye and met Duggy who sold me his book which showed us sort of where to go and what we were looking for. Amazing how they were only relatively recently found. Years of people simply walking over them not realising.
Hi Niall, Hi Lisa. WOW amazing. I can never get my head around things like this. Things that are from millions of not billions of years ago are still around today. 😲 Great video guys, all the best 😃⛰🥾🏕️🏴🦖🦕
Really interesting video guys! Amazing to think those footprints have been there for eons and have only just been discovered. Imagine what else is out there just waiting for some random dog walker to stumble apon it! 😁🍺🍺
I know right. The amount of people that just walked over them for hundreds of years without realising. Some prints do just look like rock pools and then there are rock pools that look a bit like dinosaur prints. I'll leave it to the experts to say what's what.
Good morning. I've commented on this one and others but most of mine dissappear. You shared this brilliantly. I can't believe the footprints are there. Blew my mind. Loved it.
Thanks Jamie. I enjoyed doing the research and now I know a tiny bit about those critters. It was great finding the prints that we did. Puts our little time on this planet into a much bigger picture. Thanks for commenting Jamie.

Skye is beautiful and when the prints were made it was a warm island with lots of sun. It was this hot sun that baked and preserved the prints.
Thanks for showing those amazing Dinosaur footprints👍
Thank you. It was really good fun hunting for the prints.

My ickle brain is too small to comprehend numbers like that. I think scientists think that the world is 64 billion years old. Too much I can't cope.
Hi Niall and Lisa, such an amazing phenomenon, to think they were made millions of years ago and they can still be seen today. Cheers Glyn.
Hi Glyn. It's Incredible. It's difficult to comprehend 166 million years and more.
