just bought one of these kits, going to give it a go tomorrow. edit to add - well i did it, wasn't too bad. i just screwed the new brackets in the same holes as the old ones i removed.
That's what I wanted to know. I live in an old house with huge bay window and so my curtains are very large and lined. This makes them heavy. I bought this curtain rail so I'll just have to try it!
