I was convinced by people in my life at the time to have an abortion as an older teen. I felt horrible before and after. I knew in my heart it was wrong but unfortunately I still went through with it. I started drinking and trying to hurt myself for years after. It’s been over 20 years and I still think about it every day. I’ll regret that day for the rest of my life. I’m thankful for the people fighting for life.

I can honestly say I do know exactly how you feel. It's become a roller coaster in my life along with addiction that is always right at the edge waiting for me to cave. No pro choicer seems to be able to explain why a human being shouldnt have human rights. I’ve had this debate numerous times, and watched many debates, nobody ever explained this. It’s like saying every woman should have woman’s rights except hispanic women. That wouldn’t make sense, it’s called “woman’s rights” so if someone is a woman, they should have woman’s rights. If someone is a human, they should have human rights. A fetus is a human so it has the human right to not be killed. This should end Every pro choice argument. Unless they can prove a fetus isn’t human, which doesn’t make sense

Plus calling it a clump of cells is just describing its form, not its species. If it’s an offspring of a human, it’s human. It’s that simple. Doesn’t matter what form it is. It can be a single cell. Its still human. Why? Because no animal can reproduce a creature of another species. Simply impossible. So fetus are human beings, that ends that
So fetus have human rights. Why shouldn’t they? They’re innocent. You can’t say they’re a parasite, parasites invade an animal and steal nutrients. A fetus was formed inside a woman, a fetus did not invade anyone. The fetus is the primary function of the uterus, the fetus is there as a function of the uterus. Therefore the fetus has the right to remain in the place that was designated for it, the place where it was created? Why shouldn’t it? Nobody has an answer for this either.
Then they say woman shouldn’t have to provide care for a fetus. But why? They created the fetus. This is essentially why parents are legally responsible for their kids in the first place. Because they created them! If you create a human being, you are responsible for them.
And in cases of rape, why should someone else’s actions take away someone’s rights? The rapist committed the wrongdoing. The child did nothing wrong. Why should the child be killed for the rapists wrongdoing? Not only does this not make sense, but it’s a direct contradiction to human rights. The child had no control over the fact that it was created, nor did it have control over the rapists actions, yet it’s being punished for both of those things. Imagine if I went and killed someone because their brother hurt me. That’s ridiculous. The brother should’ve faced punishment not the innocent guy who did nothing wrong
And then they bring up pregnant 13 year old girls. First off this is rare. Very rare. When I get into a debate about this, pro choices always ask “you think a 13 year old should have a baby?” and my answer is NO. I would prefer a 13 year old never have to go through that. Nobody wants that. But I also don’t see how it make sense to kill someone innocent. Truth is that it is very unfortunate that a 13 year old has to have a baby, but she has to. This drives people insane and gets them so upset, but what’s the alternative? Killing an innocent child and possibly killing the girl as well? The study’s showing abortion safer than birth were very flawed. Abortion is not safer than birth abortion is basically a forced birth. Which can be very dangerous for a young 13 year old. But even putting all that aside, both the fetus and the girl has human rights. All we can do is protect our girls and make sure they don’t end up in a predators hands and end up pregnant. But if she does end up pregnant, it is unfortunate and it’s not pleasant to hear, but she has to have the baby. It’s the better thing to do over possibly killing herself and killing the damn child. I’d rather pick the option where both of them have a better chance at surviving, which is natural birth

Often times there are 3 lives involved. Most people forget about the man who made the baby. They remember him when they want their child support, but want him to have no say in the life of the child.

Usually, I feel people with this kind of approach and argument tend to find reasons to justify something they know is just evil but want to have it nonetheless.
If they go to the hospital right away and report it they give them something to stop them from ever getting pregnant and if it's too late for that then there's always adoption
