On the topic of Lexus people , It feels like there’s exactly 4 types of Lexus owners where im from (SF Bay Area): 1) young ppl that drive a hand-me down or parent-bought Lexus 2) the stance guys 3) 30 year old car guy that needed a daily bc the fun car is on jack stands 4) retired people. One thing they all have in common is that they needed a car that wont add any more stress to their wallets yet didnt want to be seen in an econobox
This is so accurate lol. I feel like you’re talking about me except the hand me down part. I live in east Bay Area I’m 30 I have a 05 LS430 that my wife daily’s & I daily a 13 GS350 I daily & my fun car is a 17 GSF that hardly leaves the garage 😭 maybe 1-2 times a month. I beat myself up about not driving the F more but the way the Bay Area drivers are lately I’d rather not 😂🎯
I started off as 2) my first ls430 was 2001 UL with the VIP stuff and slammed, my current one is a 2005 ml completely stock stance and it just works. it so smooth i question why i even stanced my old one in the first place.
I was in the market for a car a few years ago, mustang gt, gt350, hellcat challenger, ss Camaro , e9x, f8x m3, then is ,rc gsfs , ended up going the lexus route, good visabilty, reliable, low maintenance, easy to daily, less likely to get me shot robbed or pulled over , it started to get hard to find the color combination I wanted any white or nebula grey pearl with red interior ended up with the lsf in ultra white and red no regrets it's been a great car with no issues and the value hasnt dropped with more miles on it.

I owned one before I bought my GTR. Hands down a beautiful smooth ride if I didn’t own an ISF I would have kept it
GS f AND IS F, that was quite the combo! hows the GTR treating ya?
GSF is a favorite. I have the IS500, which has the same V8.
