Original • Stevie Ray Vaughan - L...
STEVIE SWITCHED FROM A RED GUITAR TO A WHITE GUITAR, THEN HE HAD TO TUNE IT , PLAYED WITH HIS EYES CLOSED, PLAYED ONE HANDED, PLAYED BEHIND HIS BACK, GAVE A GREAT SPEECH , PLAYED WITH HIS TEETH, BROKE A TOOTH, LOOKED FOR IT, HE SAID I LOST A TOOTH AND SMILED!!❤❤❤😍😍😍🐐🐐🐐🎸🔥🤯😱🙀😳😢😢😢😢RIP STEVIE!!!
The G.O.A.T.
I'm amazed that 98% of reactors never notice the guitar change in this video. Of course he does it so effortlessly and doesn't interrupt the song.
SRV just loved playing. It was said that after one concert, don't remember where. A person went to it and then went to the local bar down the street. AND SRV walked in with guitar in hand, asked to play with the bar band and closed the bar playing with them.
Charley was a white custom-made "hardtail" (non-tremolo, fixed bridge) "Stratocaster-style" guitar built by Charley Wirz, a friend of Vaughan's and owner of Charley's Guitar Shop in Dallas. Wirz built it in late 1983, and placed a neck plate on it engraved "To Stevie Ray Vaughan, more in '84". THIS SONG HE WROTE THIS FOR HIS FRIEND CHARLEY WHO PASSED AWAY SUDDENLY.
SRV with Jonny Copeland live, "Tin Pan Alley". Greatest blues duo ever seen.
Great reaction to my all time favorite SRV!!! No one speaks to my heart and soul like Stevie Ray❤.
@@conniehorton1981 I second that emotion💙🎶🎸💙💯
@@harrietmiller3982 Thanks Harriet!!!
Saw SRV live 5 times. Was lucky enough to meet him backstage where he signed my ticket “SRV” and gave me a guitar pick. I still have both hanging on my wall.
"Stevie was an endless, open channel that music just poured out of. He made people who'd never touched a guitar in their life want to pick one up and start playing, and he made those of us who'd played live onstage with him before want to quit."..................Eric Clapton.
I had tickets to see him for the first time on 9/23/1990 (2 days before my birthday). Needless to say, it broke my heart when he went down on 8/27/1990. I still have the tickets framed and proudly displayed in my office. GOAT
God 'SUPERSIZED' Stevie Ray's 'talent' gene ...
RIP Lil' Stevie 🎸
to me what is more impressive is the unhooking and re-hooking the strap so smoothly and effortlessly is amazing! You know how hard that alone is? He had to practice that more than the songs.
This is fabulous, playing the guitar behind his back again and he just makes it looks so easy! What a charismatic performer Stevie Ray Vaughan was and such a legendary guitarist. You're just spellbound watching him play, you can see he's completely absorbed in the music, it's just wonderful to experience. Thanks for another great reaction, Anthony!😊😊
Hey Anne, his voice reminds me a bit of John Mayer's in this one.
Anthony, love your reactions! You've got to check this one out. STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN - Look At Little Sister || a string breaks ||. His E sting breaks around 2:44 and he goes on as if nothing happened and then changes guitars mid song without missing a beat. We're talking Top Tier Professional here. Stevie Ray Vaughan & Jeff Healey - 'Look At Little Sister'. This one is a banger that I'm sure you'll like. He plays along with Jeff Healey and Jeff is blind, but also plays the guitar in such an unconventional way that it will knock your socks off. Enjoy my friend and have a great day!
Broke a String, and a tooth , in one song ! GOAT❤
The man who made this white guitar, a good friend, had just passed away :( Stevie was very sad!
A lot of people say that the music was in him, and it came out through the guitar.
While attending law school in Lubbock, my dad used to go see him play at the original Stubb's BBQ. Stevie used a stack of 6x9 car speakers and would sit down at the table and play with the audience members sitting right there (keep in my it only had about 10 tables).
No ever mentions how swaggy SRV was. This man had it all going on. Tragic lost to the world for sure.
To hear a different side of Stevie, listen to Riviera Paradise. A song for all the people who are hurting. One of his very best and a song that creates a mood/environment much different than most of his songs. A true masterpiece. Love you for diving headfirst into the rabbit hole. Thanks for the reactions. Stay safe.
He is very talented
Stevie doing "Mary had a little lamb" live at Austin city limits. It's incredible.
Yes from 1989!
again, SRV THE best blues player to ever pick up a guitar
You would have to watch/listen to a lot of super talented guitarists to make a personal ranking of favorites. There are many styles and genres to explore. Blues is one of my favorites when I am in the mood. Acoustic guitar is generally the more all around go-to sound I prefer but doesn't hit as well when I feel or want to feel energized. SRV definitely had talent, skill, and passion to perform. 🎸🤟
the first behind the back, then put the guitar out in front of him....its all 100% arm & finger strength, the technique is called "vibrato" he is just bending notes with his fingers holding it out in front of him like that....srv had ape-strength in his hands
The ultimate guitar hero❤
SRV AND DOUBLE TROUBLE THE BEST HANDS DOWN !!! NOBODY COMPARES !!!
First 😂You should check out Stevie with another guitar legend Jeff Healey little sister live. I saw Stevie in 88 open up for Robert Plant and he literally seduced me with his guitar and then he sang....smooth as butter 😂 Great reaction and Peace out ✌️ ☮️ 🙏
He broke his tooth during this performance and you can see him looking on the ground for it. He then turns to his roadie and says "I broke my tooth".
new jersey...yes, sir:) ....srv was next level
'Lenny' by SRV
Live at Macambo
His guitar tells the sexiest story ever!
His little talk was about "The Mother" country. The Apartheid in South Africa.
SRV practiced at least 5 hrs a day.
The chat next to the reaction distracted me
in "texas flood ,live, at el mocambo" i dont think hes was "flexing", other reactors have said that too, i think he was just so heartbroken & fvcked up on cocaine & whiskey that all the "behind the back " stuff is just pitr self expression, like, he felt so strongly about what he was trying to express for this woman, ,that playing "normally" wouldnt get his point across enuf....& this song's subject + his speech...this song is a whole other situation entirely...for 2 decades i thought " life without you" was about a woman & lost love but its about his friend who died...i really think all the so-called "flexing" stuff here is just him trying to do his friend's memory justice.... & then with the fancy guitar playing after the speech it was like "hey....listen, this is important"....srv wasnt really a normal dude...he was very humble & very genuine...after he got sober in 1986, he helped *a LOT* of people get sober those last 4 years of his life.....he never did anything half way
Playing with his teeth... his tribute to Jimi Hendrix.
I clicked soooooo fast!!!
I think it's really difficult to give a top 5 or a "who's the GOAT" ranking since guitar is super subjective & all the best players are incredible in their own way, BUT, add Gary Moore to your next up list. Gives that same "magic" feeling that SRV gives. Europe had Gary, North America had SRV.
I'm not big on greatest/best.... so many wonderful musicians, Stevie is certainly one of the greats....
Hendrix - Machine Gun (the Band Of Gypsies performance is stunning)
Steve Vai - For The Love Of God (live with Metrapole orchestra is stunning)
Jeff Beck - 'Cause We've Ended As Lovers
All well worth checking out
Excellent suggestions
Tin Pan Alley with Johnny Copeland ("Flying High" by him is great.
He has great stuff with Albert King and Jeff Healy.
He has 2 official videos that are worth a look. Cold Shot, because it's funny. Superstition, he covers Stevie Wonder, who makes a cameo.
Tin Pan Alley with Johnny Copeland is my Favorite ❤❤❤❤
I wanted to like it, but I already had 🤔
HELLO. DİMASH KUDAIBERGEN. NEW WORLD SUPERSTAR
S.O.S REACTİON PLEASE
Please do me a favor. don't ever do a live reaction to Stevie Ray Vaughn. I just tried watching this and you're more focused on comments and people giving you money than to appreciate the greatness that is in front of you. You just don't get it. sorry bro...
