Jaime is a professional surfer, but you are the one who makes his vlog look so professional! Great work kid! Stoked (yeah, I said it) to subscribe to your channel.
I am amazed to hear all the great things you have learned in filming. Way to make it simple, fun, and precise! Cool to see a everyday item used and made to look different by these tips in techniques
Hey Jackson - I got here from the job vlogs. Just wanted to say ur now one of my favorite channels on yt. Will be spreading some good Vibes on the comment section of future vids. By the way I really want to get started with filmmaking. I would like to start literally with my iPhone before investing in any equipment. Maybe some tip on that? (Or an idea for a short vlog in the future;)) Cheers man!
Seeing the example with the water bottle was so helpful! Excited to practice this - these were easy, actionable tips to keep in mind while shooting, thank you!
Been watching JOB's vlogs and I'm motivated and want get into film making myself. But there's a catch: Im 58 and retiring in 2 years (and moving to Hawaii!). A tad behind but like everybody says...age is just a number. You're a breath of fresh air so I subscribed and looking forward to your vlogs and learn some (or a lot) from you.
This was really helpful. I've recently been getting into photography. I have been messing around with the adobe creative cloud plan and have been using skillshare to use them. Your story is really cool and your videos have inspired me to try filmmaking as a hobby more.
Hey man. Epic story of yours. Iv been watching lots of your stuff after noticing your channel from JOB stuff. Can I ask a question. Iv been teaching myself how to edit and so far shooting everything on my iPhone. I am now really wanting to start being able to get that professional polished look that the phone struggles to get. After checking out your videos I realise I’m now at the point where I need to get an actual camera. So looking at it’s pretty fair price and your work with it I think I’m guna get a gh5. Iv been filming jobs at work for social media so I want that ability to film at a high FPS. My question is what lens’s would you advice. I’m learning as much as I can but I don’t wana waste money. So thought I’d ask some who knows. Lots of my videos are of the cars we work on. And I’m wanting to use the low aperture you recommend to help with the look. So yeh. I’m not sure if I need a wide angle with low aperture. Or a standard just small lens with a low aperture. Sorry for this long message. Would be great to get some honest advice from someone with your skills and knowledge. Thanks man. 🤙
So much value thanks dude! I started out rude towards your channel turns out I was just jealous. Anyways I’ve come full circle. Keep crushing it thanks for the tips.
Man, these are good practical tips, you should get Jamie to give you a plug at the end of one of his videos. I've been watching him for years and I never knew you had a UA-cam Channel!. Coolen Sisters got 17k subs without a single video - so you should get a few K genuine ones. it will be interesting to see where you are at in 10 years... good luck with your quest :)
Such a good video! I also like to ski like you and I have gotten into capturing all the action when skiing, and I put some of it on my Instagram (@nicojoe_brohams). I also use the go pro to capture action in general not only for skiing. I got a sick shot of me taking a seat on a fallen down tree on a steep glade run when skiing! I also love to travel and I take photos of my adventures as well, and you inspired me to do so! Your videos are the best man!
