    Glad to hear Sue lay down the marker in the first 10 mins. To really hold the alliance as important, to watch for when it’s undermined, and then to repair when it is so. It’s very surprising that how few practitioners actually do this. Many don’t. Many also think they do but actually don’t. Then when clients don’t progress, they blame the clients, pathologise them. When clients give their feedback, it’s taken defensively, taken that clients are ignorant and don’t know better. It’s one of the few professions where clients are expected to pay full price for a service that under delivers. Little wonder why folks like Scott Miller got on their soapbox about tracking outcomes
