Farm Aid’s mission is to build a vibrant, family farm-centered system of agriculture in America. Farm Aid artists and board members Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews and Margo Price host an annual festival to raise funds to support Farm Aid’s work with family farmers and to inspire people to choose family farm food. For more than 35 years, Farm Aid, with the support of the artists who contribute their performances each year, has raised more than $64 million to support programs that help farmers thrive, expand the reach of the Good Food Movement, take action to change the dominant system of industrial agriculture and promote food from family farms.

What a awesome performance by John Mellencamp and all of His Band Members. What a awesome song 🎵. O yeah we love are Minutes to Memories sweet dreams. From Wisconsin.
Wow, and now he's almost the age of the man he's singing about
He's always been that man
My very favorite of his!!
Man what a great song - always gets to me 😢
This song has always been one of ny favorites by him, ever since I was a little kid. And now my kids get to listen to this treasure. Rather they want to or not 😂
A true American storyteller!
Incredible!
Was excited to see this one for the first time. Didn’t expect it to pop up!
The name of my new boat Fits perfectly
Gets better and better with age that John.
Such a great song.
The steel mills near Gary. The Region is and always will be home.
Brilliant
Awesome
I wonder when he will finally have the courage to perform China Girl live on stage. It's such a beautiful song.
his beauty never ends... thankfully
Wow just wow!
The name of my boat. Made sense
Nice. Interesting drumming patterns, much different than the original with Kenny Aronoff.
That looks like his first violin player 😺
it is. His band members have been with him for a long time.
Decades, yeah?
loved it when you stopped the fans early chorus . that’s song integrity!
Sad to hear his gravel voice like this.
His tone is still solid.
more cowbell!
I love his music but he sounds terrible these days.
I could not listen to this. The light has gone out.
He needs Jesus! I pray for his spirit to return in the light and hope and love of Christ. Because no person returns to the Father except through the Son and receives the light of life and ultimately the gift of eternal life.
This used to be one of my favorites until I actually read the lyrics. It doesn't make any sense now. Days don't turn to minutes. Minutes turn to hours and hours turn to days and days turn into weeks. But it doesn't work the other way around. I wish it made sense but it doesn't. And now that I've heard it, I can't un-hear it. John got lazy there, or he didn't think it through.
As time passes, each day in the past becomes smaller to remember. It makes sense to me.
Smaller to remember? Do you mean harder to remember? @@dickswiveller2210
Intersting points. I never really thought about it, but I thought he meant that he'll be home soon (minutes) and rejoin those that produced the memories for him.
Guess we'd have to ask John himself!
@oenberger3070 That is an interesting perspective as well. So you mean it's sort of like a countdown… Only a few more minutes to get back to the origin of his memories? I never thought of it like that. John are you here? Can you answer our questions? I went to high school with one of John's cousins but I never met the man.
@@StabilityMan Yes, that is always how I took it!
