There is a REAL possibility both the Jets and Giants are looking for a starting QB in this coming NFL draft. Not sure either will end up with the WORST record in the NFL to have a shot at Drake Maye, Michael Penix Jr, or Caleb Williams, but maybe Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix, Jordan Travis, or JJ McCarthy might be available. Maybe the Giants give DJ one more year to “prove himself” as the team’s franchise QB and hold off on looking for a QB in the draft. But the Jets can ill afford to NOT look for a QB in the 1st round of this coming NFL draft, having a 40 year old as their starting QB in 2024. I mean, c’mon. Is Rodgers really going to play till he’s 45? If he wins the SB next year with the Jets, he’s done. If he doesn’t win the SB next year but the team gets close, he most likely returns for 2025. The defenses are getting stronger, faster and smarter each year and they have caught up to the offenses. I agree completely with the Jets defense. Very good... but every game always playing from behind its eventually going to break. How would the defense play if they had a lead once in awhile. This game wasn't lost because of the deceiving up some plays. It was lost on the opening kick off fumble and starting the game off down by 3 points. We knew at that point they would never have a lead in the game. Completely demoralizing for the defense that's knows the offense is so terrible. And the fault lies with the organization that didn't lift a finger all summer knowing there was a good chance we would need back up QB play when Rodgers us 40 years old and O line weak. And they had plenty of time to make a move yo get a real QB after Rodgers went down in the 1st drive of the game.... and instead they rolled at Zak and got exactly what they got last 2 years. The defenses are getting stronger, faster and smarter each year and they have caught up to the offenses. The colleges need to develop bigger and stronger QB's to stand up to the onslaught of rushing defenders! And they may need to consider running the ball more to use up the clock and keep the defenses honest.

As a Giants fan I sympathize with QBs that have horrible offensive line play. Jets are ranked 25th, Giants are dead last. Having said that, Wilson hasn't showed anything. Well... except a couple of passes in 24 seconds against my team of course.

The Jets could totally rebuild their offensive line in the off season but by the 3rd game of year 50% of the O line will be on IR.
They need to tank the rest of the season and try to get one of the qb's to learn behind Rodgers. They would have been fine if they kept White instead of Wilson. Even with the bad o line.

I agree completely with the Jets defense. Very good... but every game always playing from behind its eventually going to break. How would the defense play if they had a lead once in awhile. This game wasn't lost because of the deceiving up some plays. It was lost on the opening kick off fumble and starting the game off down by 3 points. We knew at that point they would never have a lead in the game. Completely demoralizing for the defense that's knows the offense is so terrible. And the fault lies with the organization that didn't lift a finger all summer knowing there was a good chance we would need back up QB play when Rodgers us 40 years old and O line weak. And they had plenty of time to make a move yo get a real QB after Rodgers went down in the 1st drive of the game.... and instead they rolled at Zak and got exactly what they got last 2 years. That's all on the organization.

Hate to say it but the worst thing that happened to the jets was when rodgers decided to play for the jets. Now you have to hold on to the worst OC in football whom might be the head coach if saleh gets fired. And everyone is just praying and hoping rodgers can save the franchise next year.

Then come draft time, every analyst talks about the great defensive players available and when they only draft 1 top o linemen, they give the Jets excuses. Even Mike! NO MORE PLEASE. That means you don't wait until after the draft to talk about how serious the issue is. You talk about it for a month ahead so the Jets front office knows that they have our permission to deny Saleh his beloved defensive picks. Otherwise same old same old. And yes make trades and use free agency as well.

It's very clear the Jets will have a losing record for 2 main reasons: Inept Coaching and a lack of discipline. Hackett is not a good coach and his track record is indisputable. Saleh doesn't have the respect of the players and that's why the same issues continue season over season. Zach is better than Boyle and if they go with Boyle, they have no chance of winning any game. Hackett has zero offensive creativity and they never throw into the end one. Zach has a string arm and they never use it.
