That honestly was the smoothest saucer pass I’ve ever seen
Shesterkin attempted a handful of empty netters in the regular season... One actually went the length of the ice... missed by an inch. I forget who they were beating that game 😉
That was one of the best goalie passes I have ever seen.That is right up there with goalies scoring themselves.

"If you're a goalie, play the goal" is a pretty good rule UNLESS you're Igor Shesterkin. His handling of the puck when he leaves the crease is as good as it gets, and his passing and vision are something else entirely. His teammates know he's capable of seeing and making those plays, so they're looking to get open when he wanders.

This series has been hockey at its best. Insanely entertaining. I already feel sorry for the team which loses the game #7.

It's over for the Pens. Up 3 games to 1. Game 6 your up 2 to nothing at home and you can't win. It's over. Rangers will blow them out at home. Big question will be, will Crosby retire if his concussion is bad enough. He is a smart guy and may not want to risk anymore concussions and live out his life with constant headaches, vision problems, balance and every thing else concussions bring. He has NOTHING to prove anymore. I would retire.

@Ocean Breezy that dread 2-0 lead. I watched way to many teams this season become complicit instead of stepping on the opponent’s neck. Rangers are definitely guilty of quitting with a 2-0 lead. I feel like both teams have done it this series. Someone’s gotta put it to bed. LGR!!!!

Domingue just didn't play well and Shesterkin made timely saves when needed... not to mention that great pass to setup the 3rd NYR goal.

Caps gave us a scare in 2017 too when we went up 3-1, they came back and tied it just for us to beat them in a game 7 in Washington. We can still win, we really need Crosby back and if he doesnt our bottom 6 need to step up like they did in game 3. LETS GO PENS

Well what can they do when their top player Crosby is injured both their starting goalies are injured and some of their better players like Rakell and dumoulin are injured.

considering the penguins got a free win in game 1 with that ridiculous call that overturned a game winner, i think the penguins are lucky their still playing. As for Crosby, the rangers beat up Pittsburgh all season with him in the lineup, when the rangers play well, they win, when they dont, they lose, makes no difference what Pittsburgh does.

Mika waking up is a very bad thing if you're hoping for a Pens victory. Dude scores in bunches and Domingue's play was very concerning going into game 7. Should be a great one though, this has easily been one of the better series to watch

That 4th goal Domingue coughed up was inexcusable with only 88 seconds left in such a critical playoff game - horrifically soft. But what else can you expect from a career backup third string curtain jerker? Pgh lost this series the day Jarry broke his foot. Or whatever they're calling it.

It was definitely a bad goal but Dominigue I thought made about 5-6 brilliant saves, and he has played better in this series than could have been expected. Penguins scored one goal in last 45 minutes, and that was the difference. Once Malkin made that amazing steal and score, thought it was over for Rangers. Game 7 a tossup and any Rangers fan or anyone who thinks this series is over is out of their minds………just as any Penguins fan who thought series was over at 3 games to 1 was also dead wrong.

If Crosby finished the game in game 5 they would've of won for sure. Team plays so poorly without him and it's noticable especially in this game.

Nothing to Wonder about. Crosby, Best Player in the World, Conn Smything in the first round, ahead 3 -1 , ahead 2-0 in the game, 35 minutes in. Rangers ZERO. Trouba elbows Crosby in the face when he's not looking (after elbowing Guentzel in the head earlier in the game, like his teammate elbowed Rackell in the head, earlier in the series) gives him a concussion, Crosby leaves the game, Rangers score 3 goals in 2 minutes AFTER he leaves. The Series was OVER ... EVERYBODY knows that ...

@@WalkableBulb905 This is the 2nd time. We did the same thing against the Rangers in 2014. Although this isn't the same. We lost 2 our best forwards in Crosby and Rakell. Lost one of our best defenseman in Dumoulin along with both #1 & #2 goalies out to injury. The fact we are still competitive speaks volume to this team. If we had everyone healthy we would of smoked them 2 games ago.

Mikas second goal looked like an early deflection off of the pens player. Domingue prolly coulda had it but easier said than done.

Rangers fan here. Surprised so many think it’s over. There’s 60 minutes of hockey to be played and Pens aren’t giving up and not one Rangers player or coach thinks it’s over. Every Rangers win has been a huge struggle, so it’s not logical to think game 7 will be any different

Still amazed the rangers haven't blown out the pens this series with their goalie situation, I'm not sure if it's because the pens are just playing well or the rangers are just playing that bad.
Compared with the way Jarry played last year vs the Isles, Domingue has been the 2nd coming of Hasek. He's been pretty solid for the Pens in a series where it's been about "trading chances". If you watched last year, the Pens had 3 Grade A chances for every 1 the Isles had, if not more, but Jarry couldn't stop anything. He just seemed to freeze and let shots whiz past his shoulder all series long. Domingue showed tonight why he's been a journeyman back-up goalie tonight. That last one was awful. As for the Rangers, they aren't playing the same level of team defense we saw in three straight wins over the Pens late in the season. In those games, PPs were 9 for Pens, 4 for Rangers, and yet the Rangers controlled play. Here, it's been back and forth all series long.
