SD, this is the kind of tutorial I have been wanting for years. No cuts, no fast fowards, just all in the process. I absolutely love this and am glad to see all of this type of content esp for chillwave/chillsynth.
Thank you for this perfect tutorial my friend! I love how you analyze and enlighten us on the style and choices of the original artist and then walk us through very clearly on how to get a similar sound. Keep making these!
This is amazing, do you think you would turn this into a 'How to start' tutorial like you did with Synthwave? I and plenty of others im sure would love to create something like this but its quite difficult to get started or know what to do.
It's something I have in the works! It's not going to come right away but I'll eventually release a video like that. In the meantime I'll be posting in depth videos on a couple songs very soon so hopefully that will help as well!
Oh haha really? Of course, take your time with it to get it good. I must say I love your videos I am very surprised how you don't have more subscribers
@@MoonDrive_ Yep! I'll have it out at some point, just don't know when, so keep an eye out! Thank you for the kind words, the community is slowly building so hopefully it continues to grow over the years.
I know Hotel Pools gets a lot of hate for how generic a lot of his songs sound, but he does genuinely have A LOT of gems too man. Blessed by God, really talented man he is.
Are there a lot of other artists that sound exactly the same? Whenever I search up chillwave it comes up with regular synthwave which doesnt sound like him. The only artist I can think of is home
Great work. Diva is definitely all over the first two albums and I still use it. Also good tips on automation, huge part of it. 🍻
Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Always appreciate your work. Big fan.
I love Diva too!
Thanks for dropping in and confirming that, really love your art and find a lot of inspiration from it.
love your stuff!
Hi, do you work in Fl or Ableton?
Looking forward to watching this as soon as I have time this week. Thanks in advance!
Thanks for your continuing support as always!

I'm glad you found it too!
Hey, thanks so much for putting this together, big fan of HP and just about anything ChillSynth, etc...
Thank you for watching! Glad you found it helpful.
I love the sound with the neon lights after the preview plays.. i would love to learn to do that sound!
I think that was just a preset of mine with a random note. Unfortunately I don't remember it :(

Thanks so much for watching and the kind words. I really enjoyed this one and I definitely have some fun ones coming up!
@@SynthDesigner can't wait for the next ones!

This is so great! thank you! I am a huge HP fan.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Wonderful tutorial! I've been getting into chillwave and this is super helpful. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome! It's a really fun genre and I have some more videos coming up!
I saw your reddit post and came here. You are amazing, man. Thanks and I look forward to seeing more videos!
Thank you!
Glad you find it helpful.
Fantastic tutorial! How would you say I could get the saturation for the snare with logic pro tools?
Thank you for watching! I am not familiar with the stock plug-ins on pro tools, but most distortion/saturation plug-ins can achieve similar effects.
I got into Chillsynth a while back and I would love to make my own tracks but it seems so time consuming.
Anything worth doing takes time. Follow a few basic tutorials and see where they take you!
Great tutorial! Keep it up
Thank you!
Awesome work!
Sneak peek for an upcoming Diva preset pack there? 😉
Working on a Diva pack but won't be ready for a while. But yes, definitely expect something!

He should get 0 hate. He does incredible work.
Debatable ,his music sounds like the generic songs you’d hear when watching “how to get Minecraft for free” videos
@@SynthDesignernot every song is for everyone, that's the beauty of music. Endless possibilities
@@pinktokyo4104you’ll probably never make anything worth while and just pull others down to make yourself feel better. Hope that works out for you

Thank you! Ya I'll have to think about doing that one too.

I've had this request before so it's on my list! Thanks for the suggestion. Hopefully I can put something together.
Очень круто!!
