Mechanic shops should take note that being honest will generate more business and repeat business. Most mechanics just want to rip you off by lying and hope u don't find out and come back.

In your role as a new car reviewer, you are one of very few who do not regularly accept free travel, free accommodation and various gifts from automakers before you share your opinion of their product. You are also very rare in not allowing any sponsorship of your channel. I don't normally watch YT videos longer than 15-20 mins long and IF I do, I'll skip parts along. I watched the entire hour on this one -- no skipping. I have been watching this channel since inception. I've seen all the videos. Each and every one of them. I feel like I am part of the family. One day when I venture out from Long Island, NY and to Illinois, I would like to visit the shop and meet everyone including the bossman. What a great journey. All the best in continued success for the shop and business in general.
I do have an Old (24 yo), 2001 Toyota Camry which is on verge of clocking 250K miles soon. I do the routine maintenance myself and some other stuff, spark plugs, calipers, brakes, etc. I find it fun and rewarding to do so I suppose as a Toyo owner, I am family. hahaha.

Your shop culture is key, it doesn't seem like work when you get to spend the day with friends doing what you love. And God bless YOU Mrs. CCN! I'm sure there were many days when he just wanted to throw in the towel on the shop, but you gave him the gentle nudges he needed to keep pushing on.

I can relate with your story because I worked 28 yrs. in the Planning Dept. of my local government and know exactly what you and the Mrs. Car Care went through. There are many regulations and policies , meet proper zoning designations and obtain necessary building and use permits, meet fire dept. requirements for chemical waste disposal, fire exits, fire extinguish system, building code requirements like handicap access, etc.
It's a LONG PROCESS to get business started and finally obtain the certificate of occupancy. Good for you and your family sticking with your dream and that the business was approved.... God willing.🙏

    AMD,
My wife and I were so EXCITED to see you writing Bible scriptures on your concrete floors !
When my wife and I built our home we bought 4 Bible’s and placed 1 on each corner of the foundation of our home.
When our Sub Floors were installed and the Studs were installed we had our Christian Family come out to our house and they wrote Scriptures all over our Studs and Sub Floors.
When our house was finished we Anointed EVERY Door and over EVERY window with oil and praise over our entire house and garage.
We told some other friends about what we had done and currently they too are building their home near us. Right before they Sheetrocked their house, they too invited all of their Christian friends to come and write scriptures on their subfloors and studs.
AMD, Thanks again for showing that other Christians are writing scriptures in their businesses.
It’s such a blessing to know that there are other Brothers and Sisters who Live the Lord and want it to be known that As for Me and My house, we will Serve the Lord !

Someone here commented that it was an hour long video. I thought, no way was that an hour. Oh, yes it was. It flew by. It was a pleasure and an honor to have you share your story with us. You have no idea what it is like for many of us to listen to someone and know that, that person is an honest decent human being. May God continue to bless you and both your families. : )

Thank you so much for being so open about this. Most of all I’m very blessed by how you acknowledge how much God led you through this process. I lost my beautiful wife of 36 years in January last year and was needing to find a new car on 2 months later, my brain was very foggy. I found your channel and your obvious love for God and how much he means to you. After going back and watching more of your videos I felt you cut through my brain fog was able to decide on a new Toyota Cross Hybrid. Your constant reliance on God in your daily life was an inspiration to me and encouraged me to rely more on God as I work through my grief.

It is funny how people see business. They do not see everything a person has to go through just to open. They do not see the owner's sleepless nights as he overcomes different challenges. It takes a special person to step out in faith and try. I helped start a company division where I live and it is kind of scary stepping out into the unknown. I finally looked at it this way If I do it and succeed it will be wonderful, if I step out and fail I can live knowing I tried and get back up and try again. You stepped out in faith and God met you there. He then guided your steps to where you are today. I pray that God continues to bless your business and family. I started watching you before you got to this point and have enjoyed watching the improvements you have made. I have benefitted as well and gained a lot of knowledge through the videos. Congratulations TCC well deserved!

Thanks for sharing. I don't know how you did it on four hours sleep every day. If you trust in God he will always make things work out. I know from my work life before retiring that being within walking or short driving distance to your place of work is a great convenience and joy. Dealing with the government can be very frustrating. I just did a solar panel system install and 200 amp service upgrade on my house. What I thought would be a couple of months turned into over a year. I learned to pray a lot and be very patient. Just wait until you retire. What you think would be the easiest thing in the world will be almost as much work as setting up your shop.
