- If you are plagued by your Arlo camera continuously recording, I'll give you a workaround that might solve your problem. I believe this is a hardware issue so if your camera is still under warranty I would send it to Arlo. #arlosecuritycamera #arlo

Thank-you sooo much!!! That constant recording was driving me nuts.
You're welcome!
Thank you, you’ve been extremely helpful! 🎉
I'm so glad!
Very helpful thank u!
You're welcome
Hey, who are you, and where have you been all my life?? I just read the answer to the first part of the question, but I understand if you have no intention of answering the second part. Sorry for the effusiveness, but I’m just real real happy that you solved my problem. It’s one that Arlo seems able to answer with only the usual “open a ticket with support,” and maybe support should see this video. Although I’ve gone to the scheduling options a couple of times, the motion settings you explained are pretty much hidden. I took the easy way and set my annoying camera at your setting of 50, and it did the trick, so many thanks! For what it’s worth, the problem started with the base station going offline for unknown reasons (I was some distance from home at the time) and I remotely rebooted my router as I had done once before when Arlo went down. When it was back up the problem started and it hit me that the last time this battery-draining issue occurred was also after an Arlo shutdown and router reboot. I don’t know what would do that but thought I’d mention it for whatever. Big thanks again. A few $s will be on their way…
Glad I could help
it worked thank you so much!
Welcome
You're the best. Ty.
Welcome
Thank you!
Welcome
It worked think you!
You're welcome
I've been searching what causes games to only have audio on headphones for a few months. Turns out that silent mode turns off automatically for games which force rotation to landscape, to minimize disturbance during gameplay (disabling the game sound itself, lol). Thank you for the help!
No problem
For for the info. I just learned from. You about the function. Had the cameras for almost 2 years
Welcome
Thank you! I changed it and now I’m not receiving all the false camera alerts.
Oh good glad it helped
I guess what I am wondering is how did you wind up figuring that the test motion feature in any way affects how the motion detection behaves when deployed for real? They are two different functions and the focus should always have been on the actual sensitivity, not the test one.
You may very well be right never thought of it that way
Works great. Thank you. Shame these cameras are going away with Arlos' "End OF Life"
Yeah I know. I just got that email. I think I may look at a different brand
On my camera, when I use the pinch feature and change the size of the recording frame, it just sits and spins. Then I get no recordings. What should I try?
Sorry not sure
Do you have to buy cloud storage
no but if you dont you only get 7 rolling days of storage
