  • Thanks for looking!
Unique one for a client! Running with Clark TK50S M51 version. Upgrade speaker, The entire upper and turret are 3D printed LOTS of custom work and fitting but not too bad. Should be an interesting battler! :-)

I always wondered how this material does in heat, I mean those summer days when it gets above 40°C

My first question, why would you be outside playing with a tank when it's above 40 degrees??? LOL!

@DGSmilitaryhobby well...people tend to get around having a barbecue, bringing their tanks, getting a beer or two, this is how we do it at least
You might leave it in your car where it gets pretty hot, you don't wanna go and find it all limp, do you

@@Cormano980 Even regular plastic tanks if it's 40 plus degrees out I would NEVER leave them in a closed up car in blazing sun. That would just be asking for trouble. PETG has a glass transition temp of 85C so it is pretty low. so yes, it is a concern no question . Again, I guess if you are used to standing around a BBQ in 40 plus heat you should take precautions. But I am pretty sure for 90% of us around the world we don't play in such heat! 🥵🥵🥵

@DGSmilitaryhobby we gather in one of our buddies home, we built like a war zone in his yard, the cars and us stay in shaded areas most of the time, but sometimes tanks go in sunlight, they held just fine, and yeah we keep batteries in a cool box most of the time
My question was if the printed material is as resistent as the regular plastic as some of the guys are seriously thinking to go the 3D way
I too believe is the future and key to different scales if someone wishes

3D printed with a lot of mods to make it fit a HL lower.
