Dean you are going to give it a few more shells i hope, it looks like it was partially resin printed instead of fdm printed, resin gives a lot cleaner detailing. i hate to be mean but its not a tank, its an assault gun/tank destroyer 😉. the panzer IV and 38T where good chassis but sadly the germans decided that they needed to have much bigger armored vehicles, like Jagd-panther and Jagd Tiger and on. but as usual a great build, hats of.👍👍👍👍👍 K.

Why not replace the Gearbox with something... How should I put it... 🤔 Less antiquated? 🤨 I've managed to grab the rereleased #36208 Display Stand version of the 1978 Tamiya Gepard back in 2011 to finally convert it into a Full Option Model ( ua-cam.com/video/Rs_ICMgQiBY/v-deo.html ) in 2019 using original Tamiya Gearboxes you'd find on Models like the Pershing ( I think pretty much any of their Split Gearboxes work as they're all the same with the only difference being the position of the Final Drive Axle either set to High or Low from the Factory - But changeable by the Enduser ) resulting in a much nicer driving experience as it would - among other things - allow to turn on the spot ( which AFAIK you can't do with this Clutched Gearbox ). Perhaps also find someone versed in CAD with access to a 3D Printer to enable all functions one would expect the Cannon to have like a Recoil Mechanism or at least being able to raise and lower it? Also, that Control Scheme is dire 😑💢

Hollywood did use models in war movies but camera film speed was essential in making model tanks feel massive to our gravity. Putting real actors into scenes using models was only perfected with CGI. So the M-47 filled in for the Panzer 7 King Tiger in the Battle of the Battle movie. Kelly’s Heroes never got the Panzer 6 tracks and road wheels right. Whatever.

I live in oshawa. ( it is shit ) we do have a Sherman downtown at the armory. They put a fence around it to keep the crack head and homeless aways from it . 😂

I installed rubber pads for my ramps so it won’t slide. I had same problem with my 1/6 model as well. Very nice 1/6 Tiger 2 you have. Recoil main gun too.
