I love, love this video. I really miss the older videos of you camping, cooking, yoga, fishing, setting up your camp site, outdoor fires and Jonathan etc.. I just feel your current video are mostly tourist guides of tourists areas and restaurants. I do not mean to be critical or insulting but I miss the older videos. Of course I will still keep watching your videos because I think you are both kind, inspiring and terrific people.
@@CodyandKellieTry a muffler shop ...they can cut out the exhaust and bend new pipe however you need. I highly doubt that the engine has to be pulled. Can't wait to get out on the road again.....thanks for the inspiration and enjoy your lives!
There is something special about the taste of food when you are fixing and eating it outside at a campsite. Especially if it is cooked over an open fire. That fire lends a subtle flavor without being overbearing, just something that you notice but can't quite put your finger on. Example...when I was growing up, a neighbor made the most amazing baked goods. I had her recipes, but mine never tasted the same as hers. When I was well into my 40s, I realized what made hers taste so special...she cooked in a wood stove. My favorite meals are when I cook in cast-iron on an open fire, where I can. Happy camping, love you two.
So glad to see yall go back to the roots of where it all began. I've definitely missed these type of videos from yall. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with the comfort of truck camping. Just feels like yall spend more time in an established camp ground. God bless
I just want to say that I like both of your video styles. I always enjoy watching Kellie cook, of course, but I also enjoy your current content where you highlight the tourist attractions. I consider them "research" of places to visit someday. We have a travel trailer so also appreciate your camping highlights. Basically, I enjoy watching you enjoy life, regardless of where you sleep. You keep doing you!
I've always wanted to say this.. "You guys eat good" everytime I watch your videos, Kelly's cooking inspires me to cook savory huge meals.. Love your videos.. Consider me a permanent viewer.
My favorite videos of you guys, tent camping. Gotta love it!!!!❤ That's what inspired my husband and I to start camping three years ago. And we love it. I only wished we started sooner when we were younger.
Nice to see some Primitive action again!!! Yall look so Relaxed again!!! It’s in your blood!!! lol… especially after y’all’s long journeys and adventures!! Love yall be safe!!! (Daddy,Daughter)
Yes!!!!!!....They're Back..!!! I commented about doing the on last video!! ... i have really missed these videos!! Gonna wait and watch this one at home on the big screen!!! I subscribed years ago after watching i believe your first richland creek video, i think it was.. We visit the oauchitas several times a year and have always had to stay in a cabin or rv because my wife just would not tent camp with me.. Tent camping in the oauchitas on a creek has been a dream for me. I got her to watch your videos with me, she and kellie are alot alike and we are close to same age, after watch her camping and cooking, she decided to give in and try it. We camped on long creek hiking and exploring the area for 3 days and she loved it, we now go all the time, shes a tough camper know, would have never happened without you guys.. cant wait too watch i am sure its awesome, your editing and filming has only gotten better, over time so i am sure its awesome! I smashed the like button so fast..!!
Loved the back to basics camping video! You should sprinkle these in more often if you can for those of us who have followed you from your tent camping days!
Video was awesome... I forgot how much i enjoy watching kellie cook those meals out in the wild like that, for some reason its more fun to watch, and they also look more delicious out there, probably the same reason a sandwich and some chips is just ok at home but is amazing in the woods... thanks i ready to camp and cook something now!
It’s good to see y’all camping again, but I don’t think I can do it. I knew there was bears and other critters out there which I seem to enjoy it. I’m glad you’re safe love watching y’all. I miss y’all when I don’t get to see you every weekend. It seems like it’s every two weeks. Stay safe.
So nice to see you tent camping again. You are making me realize how much I miss it. I'm going to get all my gear out and go this next summer for sure! Baked potato soup looked delicious Kellie! Enjoy your holidays and family time.
Makes me realize I need to go back and watch all their old videos because I didn’t really start watching their channel till right before they moved into a truck camper…😮😊❤
I meant to tell you the part video that it was like old times. Camping cooking hiking caving. Now this!!! I missed you all camping. This was great!!! Thx!
Love watching you going back to basics. You guys make wonderful videos. I feel like sometimes I am camping with you. Love love, love, watching all the delicious food Kellie cooks up. Keep those videos coming. 😀 Stay safe! God Bless!
Great video!❤ I’ve tent camped most of my life in all kinds of weather here in Michigan, including winter camping. Once I had enough gumption to get my truck camper 5 years ago, I never looked backed to my tent, even though I still have my tent. I appreciate you! I’d love to send you my favorite beer. Pure Mackinc from Triple Root Brewery in Zeeland, Mi. Loved Barred Owl! And coyotes! Thank you !
If you saw a backpacker, he is Jake and he did 100 miles from Hwy 27 to Pinnacle Mountain as a Capstone project. By your description you were there on Monday 25th. Weather was perfect at UCA and by evening it had dramatically cooled. About a dozen UCA students camped at Toadsuck including three foreign students from west Africa. We used a table top fire pit for the first time. Loved it. Please connect with us at UCA CAMPUS OUTDOORS.
Its nice having you back in Arkansas. We head to our Buffalo River area cabin near Jasper tomorrow. Like you, we've been everywhere in this country, but its hard to beat Arkansas!
Fun to see you guys out camping again. Enjoy seeing all the places you go and ideas that you have and your evolved camping style. I am not getting in as much camping as I used to. Retired in the tropics just not that many places to camp that are similar to the states. When I lived in coastal Alaska we used to go boat camping a lot out to islands and beaches, it was always amazing. I took a few road trips too in a small camper on a truck in the lower 48. Want to go back to places I have and haven't been, it is an inspiration watching, now if I can just figure out what kind of vehicle overland, van, small rv, or even tent then I will be already to go for summer trips when it is too hot here.
Welcome back. Glad to see my backyard on your channel again. Hope all is well and ready to see you head west and visit that other wild guy and his channel 😂
You guys did a shout out for my wife, Lynn, a while back when she was fighting cancer. She’s doing great. We’ll be back in Arkansas soon. We love you guys.
Two videos in one week?? Lovin it! I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t jealous though my friend & I we’re supposed to be camping near Blanchard Springs but things came up 😢.
Oh this was so good! I’ve been watching y’all from the beginning ❤❤. It did my heart good to see you back out in the woods in the dome tent again. And Kellie cooking outside in the woods, lovely. She looked so happy back at her table with the gas stove. Hey hey the Bearju is back! Cody the drone shots were amazing! Thank you for sharing our beautiful state of Arkansas with the world.
Love your tent camping videos. Wondering if you've ever seen or heard anything that might scare or cause you to take pause when you're in the woods? 🤔😱👣🐾
Cody, If you get a boreal folding pack saw you can process fire wood so much easier and quieter. Use your eastwing hatchet for branching. Love the content! Tom from Niagara Falls
That was cool! It was almost like you read my mind. I do enjoy all of your videos when you travel all over but I Love to see you in your old stomping grounds doing some tent camping and going back to the basics. The drone shots of the endless green and red forests were just jaw dropping. The Coyotes singing was cool. Thank you for this very relaxing and inspiring video Cody and Kellie. Sending good vibes from North Idaho.
Ya'll are great! I'm still around. haven't missed an episode. We loved that Crystal Creek intel you gave us years ago. can't seem to find it again but all good! Can't go wrong on Rockansas!
Cody, found the old email coordinates. "Spring Creek." I love that Cedar Bend renaming too... so kind of you again. we didn't stay exactly there but it didn't matter. good times! peace to you both! Happy Holidays
Nice to see you guys going back to your roots! I camped at that bluff site a few weeks ago and hiked to the same spot on the creek. If you go on a Tuesday or Wednesday you have a better chance of no one being there.
Hey Kellie I know you love crystal and Kelly Hays was at a place in New Mexico where the top of the hill was all crystal and there is a spot of crystal that you can sit on like a chair. If you go that way this winter I think you would love it
Well..I don't know where yall are at exactly, but if I walk up on yall in the morning hunting, tell Kellie to give me a bowl of whatever she made to eat!
Every evening without fail we hear our barred owl make his/her calls from our cabin deck. Its just part of Arkansas! I always think we are just 69 year old versions of you two! Or Maybe you are just younger versions of us?
I was surprised to see that much color still on the trees. Great aerial footage. With those clouds it looked so cold. We live in South Central AR and had our first real cold front move in this week. 💨Temps were comfortable on Monday morning but by the time we drove to Little Rock it was cold. I could see there was still color on the leaves but they weren’t showing very well because of the clouds. Thanks for sharing 🫶
Weird fact, in South Arkansas the deer will rub the velvet off their antlers on every small cedar. But up in the Jasper area the deer almost never select cedar trees for their rubs. I have no idea why? Our Jasper property, zero cedar rubs, plenty of small trees. But they pick pines or other trees.
Hey glad to see y’all real camping lol. Enjoyed everything as always. Especially the cooking lol. Love the view while hiking. I have a question. I’m from south Louisiana and planning a camping trip up that way but where are yall camping? What is the general area? I would love to plan a trip there. Thanks and as always safe travel.

Watch out for Timber Rattlers! A beautiful place to camp. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Cody and Kellie. Beautiful. Take care and God bless you.
Wow nostalgia at its finest! Loved the whole thing! Arkansas, Cody & Kellie NEVER disappoint 👏🥰💜😎👌

As a long time subscriber, I’m happy to see a camping episode again and cooking outdoors. Would love to see more of it mixed in with the tourism vids.
We hope to when we are back home. Just needed to get everything together and hope the hummer runs. We can’t get pearl in our private spots

So happy for this video. I've learned so much about the Ouachitas from you two. My plan is to get inshape for a Ouachita trail thru hike next year.
You guys are killing it. I love it.
Nice to see you guys going back to your roots! I camped at that bluff site a few weeks ago and hiked to the same spot on the creek. If you go on a Tuesday or Wednesday you have a better chance of no one being there.
That soup looks so good!!
Enjoyed seeing you guys back home camping
It was a good escape from the hustle and bustle.
Bear looks naked without the NoBo. I would’ve renamed the campsite “Cedar Bridge “. Cody, no fishing? Just ordered me one of those tables.
Love this camping video! Kelly is so beautiful 🌹
Thanks so much!😊
Hey Kellie I know you love crystal and Kelly Hays was at a place in New Mexico where the top of the hill was all crystal and there is a spot of crystal that you can sit on like a chair. If you go that way this winter I think you would love it

Can I go camping sometime with you all like Jonathan does? I'd love it. It be a blast
What a cool last name!! Don't need to Google who Oden was😂
Try those egg sandwiches withgreen pepper jelly!
Re the soup? How much broth ? Milk and heavy cream do you use ? Looks delicious! Thank you for the vlog.
Hey y’all from SC . ❤️🙏
Really nice part of the state close to lr

I’m from south Louisiana and planning a camping trip up that way but where are yall camping? What is the general area? I would love to plan a trip there. Thanks and as always safe travel.
The Ouachita mountains
Loved the back to basics! Question, did you grab the sandals off the top of the tire before driving away (end of video)?
Try a muffler shop ...they can cut out the exhaust and bend new pipe however you need. I highly doubt that the engine has to be pulled. Maybe if it's a manifold bolt near the frame rail that could be the case but you can usually drill them out and retap a new hole. I would definitely check other places...not a dealership. I've worked on a lot of cars...I suspect you're getting ripped!!!!! Good luck!!!!!!
Back to the basics with a few frills I mean no self respecting camper would ever leave home without the emulsion blender for Pete sake. Cody your one lucky dude because if I was your cook you’d be eating pork and beans and sardines for breakfast.
Great episode enjoyed every bit of it but if Kelly can have a blender you should have an electric chainsaw okay. ☮️out at 20 degrees in SC too
😂 we have an electric chain saw but it’s in the truck camper
Is that where the plane reckage is located?
Nice trip.
No that’s more near Oklahoma
Tent and cots we remember.
When did y'all get a jeep? I missed it! I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving. Newton County here.
That’s a hummer h3. We bought that in 2010
