This video reminds me when i’ve done my leon fr, suspension, bumper and wheels painting, brakes and few other things. Surprised that you didn’t go for some cheap coilovers. And obviously something has to go wrong, seized or rounded bolt etc 😂
Cheap coilovers could be on the modifications shopping list down the line 😁 I just didn't want to get to carried away until I knew it wasn't a complete loss 😂 which thankfully it's not and hopefully road worthy very soon 🤞🏻
Wow what a great video Kev , you have been busy mate , your hardworking has paid off , I bet you are well happy 😀 I bet you had a beer or two to celebrate after starting it , really enjoyed the video dosnt matter if they are longer as it was worth it , more content was great 👍🏻 ❤
Much appreciated Tim 😊🙏🏻 yeah I was a bit conscious it was dragging on a bit 🙈 but tried to keep it moving along as best as possible, and yeah as u noticed, there was loads done throughout 🤓 Cheers as always 😁
check out Bill hamber deox-gel, its great for fully removing the rust back to good steel, then you can finish up with a converter (i use hydrate-80) to seal up any last bits that are remaining.
I will look into this product, sounds really good and I love other bilt hamber stuff that I own (sufex HD and double speed wax) appreciate the tips mate 👍🏻
😂😂 well there was a lot I cut out as well mate, so I totally get where ur coming from!! 😂🙈 Getting there though, and appreciate you watching this lengthy one as it was packed with stuff needing done!! 🤓🙈
Took me a few days to watch but you did (as usual) a great job :) Maybe you can do a walnut blast on the Leon Cupra? My mk3 Leon Cupra is just finished but i didn't managed to do a before and after dino run. It could be interesting :) Greetz from Holland!
Cheers Tim! 😊👍🏻 Yeah a walnut blast would be a great video, I did look into all the equipment but it is sadly quite pricey, and needs a substantial compressor for the air supply. I did a cheap version with some cable ties, pick, and carb cleaner a couple years ago in a video (the fire/fuel engine bay issue) but walnut blasting is definitely the best 💪🏻
A lot of hard work there buddy!
Great content and keep up the great work - thanks for showing us work done!
Appreciated mate!! 😊 Yeah a lot of late nites went into this part 🙈

I expect the orange plastic you found in the sump is part of the dipstick tube
That's a very good point, I'll need to give it a good checking over, possibly order a new one. Appreciate the comment mate, thank you 👍🏻

Cracking video Kev, if I was doing that job none of the footage would be viewable with the f'in and jeff'n that would of been happening 🤣🤣

It's alive 🎉🎉🎉
It is indeed, and initially smoking 🚬 like a chimney! Luckily it disappeared quickly 😅
