Maybe consider turning your axe blade down when it’s strapped to your atv? Or get a sheath for it? Be terrible if you had an accident and fell on that blade. Be safe out there!🙏
Wow to have all that land 😮
Yeah, I’m definitely blessed, I do share it with other family members, we bought it when it was still cheap. Thanks for watching!
Seems like a good guy. Nothing like vetting your gear to see what works and what needs changes. I built log benches and a table with my axe because no one likes sitting in the dirt. The 4wheeler fits my exspanded metal cooking rack a welded up and goes well with my dutch oven and tripod. You got to think how people on the trail would have lived and the colonial settlers. Still looking for a canvas wall tent and stove because i just use a hammock setup. Just added two rack shaped tanks for the 4 wheeler one for water and one for fuel. Keep it up brother
We got a lot quail out around our place and wild turkeys and a few pheasant up on the plains. All good eating 👍🏻. Great video.
Quail and pheasants are my favorite game birds! Thanks for watching!
Those blue water jugs are very thin on top and will deteriorate and crack in sunlight. Ask me how I know that!
Hahaha.. how do you know that? 😆
Very true, the Arizona sun killed all mine, I've since upgraded to sceptre water jugs, they're much better.
Cords ok, I use peices of CAMO NET. Not so much bouncy gear. Trailer to small, could FLIP OVER, get one when able with LARGER TIRES to match ATV. ALSO EXPECT TO WIND UP WALKING, (ATVs are very LOUD) P.S. I'M 65, been at this since early 1980's. Good Luck 👍

Thankfully you did address it towards the end of the video - but I was thinking to myself the whole time "There's no way that 44oz bottle is the only water he took with him, there's no way" Living in a desert environment, I literally plan all of my bugout gear around the idea that I'm going to be carrying a minimum of 6L (~1.8 Gal or 12lbs) of water.
During the peak summer months I may opt to carry up to twice that weight in water and forgo things that are less essential in hot weather such as a sleeping bag and cold weather clothing
Great video many super suggestions. Very organized and. I learned a lot. Thanks for sharing.
I believe a tent and a day of food, would last me, but good to be prepper.
Great practice 👍🏻 its definitely good to train with your gear & see if you got something you need or don't need ..... take care 🇺🇸🇺🇸👍🏻
It definitely is, I wish I could get out more often to do it. Thanks for watching!
Nice video and nice job thinking ahead. I watched your summer bug out pack video too. Stay Ready!
Hey thank you so much for the kind compliment, much appreciated! I’m glad you found my channel and got something from my videos! Stay prepared!
An idea I was thinking while watching your video is since you have a set bug or location, you should add a tree stand in your spot. Not only for hunting but really for scouting. You here something ahead you could have a better view of what’s coming. An “Eagles nest”. Loved the video and set up though.
That’s a great idea, I’ve definitely thought about putting a tree stand out there for hunting, but not as part of my bugout strategy… good thinking!! Glad you enjoyed the video and Thanks for watching!
You should bring the little individual party sized bags of skittles for sugar boost.
I wouldn't put the gun that far forward because the scope is easy to break
I would not pack the axe's and shovel's cutting edges right in the path your head would go if the 4 wheeler's front end get's stuck at enough speed to make you jump out superman style... "just in case".
Your location is great, thanks for sharing 👍🏽👍🏽
Cant beat a canvas tent, they're heavy and usually a beast to setup, but if you're planning on using it for more than about a week, canvas is king
Yep I love it! It’s very durable! Thanks for watching!
Great Vid bud enjoyed watching, I too wish I could get out an test more often.
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it!

Just stumbled upon your channel. It's hard to hear. Don't know if I'll stay if I can't understand what you're saying.
Thanks for watching, sorry you’re having issues hearing me, i have a premium external microphone on my phone that I use for my videos but I guess I’ll try to speak louder.. I was intentionally whispering in this video because of the situation I was trying to capture, but I’ll see what I can do. Thanks again for watching!
I always take my Les Paul and a Marshall stack with me.
Sweet!
I would have bungee chorded down all the stuff in the wagon too. I'm surprised that it all stayed in there.
Yeah, I ended up eventually having to strap it down.. thanks for watching!
!!! In an actual scenario its best practice to not almost put out your newly made fire with the water you are trying to boil, rather add the water away from the fire, then move the pot to flame. (If I had just spent hours to make a fire to boil water and did this...I'd prolly just off myself then and there)
Definitely one of my favorite videos!!! Where can i get one of those tents?? I'm thinking of picking one up
thanks man.. that tent is a canvas French military tent, i bought on eBay about 10 years ago.. not sure if they still make the canvas ones, but the nylon / vinyl ones are still available!
👍👍
Если котелок накрыть крышкой, то вода закипит быстрей.
Just from lookin i thibk id find another way to strap down the tent id almsot best the hooksbl can rub the tent
Wow ." I'd almost bet the hooks "
Quick tip unless you want to blind all those watching keep the light from the flashlight away from the camera lens
i worked with a guy who lost an eye to a bungee...
Have you done any cook and kill with your 22
The axe, cutting edge up is an absolutely terrible idea/way to carry that on the front rack.
What kind of backpack ?
Love your videos, but a couple questions, why would you build a fire if you’re trying to stay hidden? Why would you not hike out to your bugout location to get used to brining what you can carry?
Thank you.. good question, I really dont plan on evacuating by foot unless its absolutley necessary, also I was mostly just out there to camp out and do maintenance on the property.. Not really running a drill.. but I will definetly do a video in the future on a bugout drill to the area! thanks again!
What is the best survival rifle you can use out in the field to survive long-term.
Ruger 10/22
Is they’re huckleberries in that location
No, unfortunatley.. not at that elevation.. Thank you for your comment and thank you for watching!
A lot of gear for just one night.
It was 2 nights, I just documented the one .. but yeah, I brought it with me mostly for content sake, also because you never know.. better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it! Tanks for watching!!
He needs a jerp or side by side
What do you have with you for defense against bears and there is no way you are carrying even half of that gear if anything happens to your quad.
Thanks for watching, there is very little bear activity in the area I’m in.. besides, black bears don’t really pose much of a threat so I’m not worried.. as far as carrying that gear on foot, I could actually carry more than half of it, however the video wasn’t about packing gear around on foot, it was about staying the night at a Bugout location and doing maintenance.. thanks again for watching!
How long do you think you could bug out and stay bugged out ? My homestead already is bugged out and
I can lay in as many tons of supplies as I want. TONS of supplies. You're fooling yourself about bugging out
and staying bugged out, neighbor.
Dear Sir, as a veteran (Royal Danish Army) im screaming and yelling at the screen when i saw your weapon standing up against the tree...
You cannot give me a good reason for why your weapon is standing up against anything, no weapon, in any situation should be standing up against anything.
I do not know the weapon in detail, so i cant see if the safety is on, sorry, but when i see someone standing their weapon like that, i go back to square one of weapons handling and safety with them.
You should really be focusing on weapons handling and safety, especially when you are out alone.
Othervise a good video with some nice information.
first of all, you should never scream and yell at a screen.. secondly, its a youtube video, not real life.. so video production, visualization and sensationalism are going to sometimes override pacticality for entertainment purposes.. just out of curiosity though.. where should the weapon of been placed in your opinion?? and just so you know the weapon wasnt loaded.. Anyways, Im glad you enjoyed the video!
@@idahoprepper Weapons handling and safety is always real, no matter the situation; be that a youtube video, on the range, at home in a safe, weapons handling and safety is always real.
The weapon should preferably be either on your person or secondly lay on your rucksack, sleepingbag, a jacket etc., something soft that prevents dirt getting into it easily.
You should throw your weapons away if they fire by themselves when they just slide down from resting on a tree.
@@gheka35 My experience and knowledge with weapons are broader than yours i see.

You said quail 87 times! Jk
Did I really?? That’s hilarious 😆
Your Mic volume is WAY TOO LOW!
No, it’s because I was whispering.. I won’t whisper next time.. thanks for watching!
Can carry that rucksack for a long distance with that huge tarp and MSS sleep system on it? It looks like you have a hundred pounds in that pack.
Nope it’s under 50
That's... a lot...
