If you want to angle it back, there are better choices than a wall-mounted easel. Tilting forward is also great if you're working the bottom of a large canvas and still want to keep it square to you while working it as you review the rest of the image.
Am I the only one who thinks this easel would be perfect if only it could angle back like nearly every other easel in existence? Forward is cool if dry medias your thing but back is really important for painting and ergonomics. Seems like an odd choice.
