Transforming These Maps I Found (I cleared out my studio)

I am frequently clearing out my studio and I found these maps from last year's Open Art Studios event. I love the hand drawn city lines and squares and began to wonder what I could paint on them.
The paper was glossy so I had to gesso over them first so that other paint would adhere to the surface.
🎨 Materials I Used:
Found maps
Gesso
Acrylic paint
Oil pastel
Remember, art is all about experimenting and having fun, so have a look around your home, neighborhood for items that can be painted on or transformed into something else!
