Probably a C code engine with a hi po sticker on an after market air cleaner. He said it's not fast. Probably just tired. Needs tuned up, etc. My friends 289 felt tired like that. After it got a new timing chain it was back to spinning tires.
like other vehicles that have sat around. work them brakes a bit and wear off the rust off the drums ( or discs if disc equipped ) and the brakes will smarten up. the car looks like the perfect candidate for a big block transplant unless its all about value as a numbers matching car. my Trans Am long ago lost its original 305 and now wears a Bow Tie block from the late 80's . somewhere in the 400HP region. almost worth 3 stock 305's .
Amesie, if I am not mistaken, I think that mustang is a rarer pony package car, Ii think the pony package cars were the only ones with the pony embroidered in the seats, with a 289. It may even be a 64 1/2
Like the color...
Holy shit !!! Thats a mustang g.t. It has the 289 hi-po motor , and pony interior. that car is worth some serious $$$$$$$$$

Fix It Again Tony.
He drove it in but it was supposedly started after 25 years? 😂
Yea so?
Where did I say it was the first start in 25 years?
Amesie's Corner Drum brakes all round....That means stopping on Rust!
Pedro Matias in the title of this video! 1st start in 25 years and then say it was driven!
Looks like a 66..according to the backup lights and dash..
