I am expanding my Traveller library and this video (along with your others) has helped me prioritize my acquisitions. Sword Worlds is the most recent addition thanks to this video.

My first RPG was Traveller (then DnD, then Top Secret) and first campaign was set in Sword Worlds . . . I may just need to pick this up (if only for nostalgia purposes). Thanks for covering this!

For anyone who is interested, Space Viking (and a lot of other HBP titles) are available for free on the Kindle store.

Astonishing the effort by somebodies to create such a detailed imaginary universe

Like many a (every?) CT player I cut my teeth on the Spinward Marches so much looks familiar here. My devotion to Traveller is less pronounced or, more importantly, the nostalgia evoked by reading the latest Mongoose products and reminiscing of game-time gone by is less deeply felt and so, unlike RQ, CoC and the upcoming Pendragon, I am a little more resistant or circumspect when it comes to purchasing updated material that might never get played and which is essentially (but, admittedly, not only) a reprint / amalgam of supplements I already possess. It's one of the reasons I have not purchased Mongoose 's Behind The Claw. Dare I say, unlike yourself, with Traveller my sanity prevails?! Although admittedly, I have a fear I will end up buying the entire line. Let's say I don't. What supplements do you suggest? The core books up to High Guard I possess - no Rulebook Update 2022 for me (see, I am being very disciplined here!) - but no Mercenary, no Deepnight Revelation (Yikes!), no Great Rift. If you had to recommend one Ardwulf, what would it be? I am thinking The Third Imperium but could be swayed by your opinion. And now to the big question: are the Vegans, vegan? Did we find out?

The most important books aside from the core are High Guard (soon to be updated), Central Supply Catalog, the Traveller companion and the Vehicle Handbook in that order. All the setting books you really only need to run there. But if you buy *any* of the setting or adventure material, Pirates of Drinax should be first. It's one of the greatest prepared campaigns ever published IMO.

I don't have the Traveller Companion. That one slipped my mind. Ridiculous really, I have watched your vid on it. Future purchase.
